(Dan Tri Newspaper) - According to forecasts, in the coming days, the Northern and North Central regions of Vietnam will maintain cold weather at night and early morning, with sunny spells in the afternoon. In particular, some mountainous areas in the Northern region will experience severe cold.

The Northern Delta and Mid-Northern Region Meteorological and Hydrological Station forecasts that on the morning of March 19th, Hanoi and many areas in the North will experience cold weather with light rain in some places, clearing up with sunshine by noon and afternoon.

Due to the influence of a cold front, mountainous areas in Northern Vietnam will experience severe cold in the coming days. The lowest temperatures during this cold spell in Northern and North Central Vietnam will generally range from 13-16 degrees Celsius, with some high mountainous areas in the North experiencing temperatures below 10 degrees Celsius, according to meteorological and hydrological agencies.

According to forecasts, this weather condition in Northern and North Central Vietnam will persist until March 24th. After this period, humid weather will return to the North, with some areas in the Northwest experiencing hot weather from March 25th.

The meteorological agency also stated that in April, cold fronts will gradually decrease in intensity and frequency, increasing dangerous weather phenomena such as thunderstorms, tornadoes, lightning, hail, and strong gusts of wind.
