Many students passionate about artificial intelligence research came to the University of Natural Sciences , VNU-HCM to attend the launching ceremony.

"This year's contest expands the contestants to high school students, helping them gradually approach the field of artificial intelligence, thereby orienting their future careers and participating in the city's artificial intelligence workforce," Mr. Thanh emphasized.

Schools and candidates asked questions to the contest organizers.

According to Mr. Thanh, in 2021, the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee approved the program "Research and development of artificial intelligence (AI) applications for the period 2020 - 2030" to build and develop an ecosystem for research, development and application of artificial intelligence; making artificial intelligence a key technology for digital transformation.

The program also aims to provide smart solutions for smart services and products, contributing to building Ho Chi Minh City into a smart city, a creative city, becoming the center of Vietnam and the ASEAN region in research, deployment and transfer of artificial intelligence application products.
