Math was the subject with the most below-average scores.

On July 17th, Mr. Nguyen Huu Dinh, Head of the Quality Management Department of the Can Tho City Department of Education and Training, provided a quick update on the 2024 high school graduation exam scores of candidates in the city.

Can Tho has 70 exam papers that scored 10 points in the 2024 high school graduation exam.

According to statistics, out of a total of 12,841 exam papers, 61,622 papers received an average score or higher. Among these, 70 papers achieved a perfect score of 10 in the following subjects: chemistry (11 papers), biology (1 paper), history (18 papers), geography (20 papers), civics (16 papers), and foreign languages ​​(4 papers).

There were 10,784 exam papers with scores below 5 points; the most common subjects were mathematics (1,977 papers), physics (967 papers), and history (894 papers). There were 2 exam papers with failing grades (1 point) in chemistry and English.

In the social science group, the highest scorer was Tran Vo Phuong Nhi from Chau Van Liem High School (56.05 points). In the natural science group, the highest scorer was Lam Thi Anh Thu from the Pedagogical Practice High School under Can Tho University (56.3 points). Anh Thu was also the valedictorian with the highest score in the 2024 high school graduation exam in Can Tho City.
