The Ministry of Education and Training is currently processing the online application (virtual filtering) of candidates. Following the most recent virtual filtering session, the Vietnam Women's Academy announced that the cut-off scores for its various programs show a clear differentiation between different groups of majors. The proposed cut-off scores range from over 21 to nearly 27 points.
This year, the number of applicants to the Vietnam Women's Academy has increased compared to 2024, with over 2,800 first-choice applications, nearly 4,400 second-choice applications, and 5,300 third-choice applications.
The majors that attract the most applicants include: Multimedia Communication, Marketing, Tourism and Travel Service Management, Psychology, Law, Economics , Business Administration… Among them, Multimedia Communication and Marketing are the two majors with the highest number of applications.

Dr. Nguyen Phi Long, Head of Training Department at the Vietnam Women's Academy, said that the virtual filtering process is being strictly implemented on the Ministry of Education and Training's system. However, due to several changing factors such as lower exam scores compared to last year and a large number of applicants, the predicted cut-off scores will be similar or slightly higher depending on the major and admission method after score conversion.
Specifically, the Multimedia Communication and Law majors continue to hold positions in the high-cut-rate group, potentially increasing slightly by 1-2 points compared to 2024.
The fields of Economics, Management, and Marketing also dominate with a high number of applications and expected relatively high cut-off scores.
Similarly, for the academic transcript-based admission method, the cut-off scores for "hot" majors in previous years may increase slightly by 1-2 points.
"However, the official results will have to wait until the final virtual filtering session," Mr. Long said.
According to representatives from the Vietnam Women's Academy, after the most recent virtual filtering round, the percentage of candidates provisionally admitted to the Academy ranges from approximately 65% to over 100% of the target. Popular majors such as Multimedia Communication, Business Administration, Marketing, and Psychology have almost reached their target, while some majors still have room, creating additional opportunities for candidates in the final virtual filtering round.
In 2024, the entrance exam scores for the Vietnam Women's Academy, based on academic transcripts, ranged from 19 to 26.5 points; based on high school graduation exam scores, they ranged from 15.5 to 26 points. The Multimedia Communication major consistently had the highest entrance exam score at this school.
