The Ministry of Education and Training is in the process of processing the admission wishes (virtual filtering) of candidates on the system. After the most recent virtual filtering session, the Vietnam Women's Academy said that the admission scores for the majors at the academy have a clear differentiation between major groups. The proposed admission scores range from over 21 to nearly 27 points.

This year, the number of candidates applying to the Vietnam Women's Academy increased compared to 2024, with more than 2,800 first-choice candidates, nearly 4,400 second-choice candidates and 5,300 third-choice candidates.

Majors that attract many candidates include: Multimedia Communications, Marketing, Tourism and Travel Services Management, Psychology, Law, Economics , Business Administration... Of which, Multimedia Communications and Marketing are the two majors leading in the number of applications.

Dr. Nguyen Phi Long, Head of Training Department, Vietnam Women's Academy, said that the virtual filtering process is being strictly implemented on the system of the Ministry of Education and Training. However, due to many changing factors such as lower test score range than last year and a large number of registered candidates, the benchmark score is expected to be equivalent or slightly increase depending on the major and admission method after converting the score.

Specifically, the Multimedia Communications and Law groups continue to hold their positions in the high benchmark group, possibly increasing slightly by 1-2 points compared to 2024.

The Economics, Administration, and Marketing groups also have a large advantage with a high number of applications and expected benchmark scores at a fairly high level.

Similarly, for the method of considering transcripts, the benchmark scores for "hot" majors in previous years may increase slightly by about 1-2 points.

“However, the official results need to wait for the final virtual screening session,” said Mr. Long.

Also according to the representative of the Vietnam Women's Academy, after the most recent virtual screening session, the percentage of candidates temporarily admitted to the Academy fluctuated from about 65% to exceeding 100% of the target. "Hot" majors such as Multimedia Communications, Business Administration, Marketing or Psychology... have almost reached the target, while some majors still have room, creating more opportunities for candidates in the final virtual screening session.

In 2024, the admission score to the Vietnam Women's Academy based on academic records ranges from 19 to 26.5 points; based on high school graduation exam scores, it ranges from 15.5 to 26 points. The Multimedia Communications major always has the highest admission score at this school.
