Sharing with VietNamNet , Ms. Nguyen Thi Thu Ha, the homeroom teacher of the Chinese language class, said she was very proud to receive good news from her students one after another. Ms. Ha assessed that this was the group of students who had achieved the most outstanding results during her time as homeroom teacher at the Foreign Language Specialized High School.
According to Ms. Ha, this achievement comes first from the persistent efforts, always having clear goals and determination to achieve them in each individual.
Right from grade 10, teachers of the Foreign Language Specialized High School have oriented students who want to be admitted directly to domestic universities or study abroad to build a specific roadmap to prepare a complete academic profile, from taking foreign language certificates such as HSK, IELTS, SAT to accumulating academic achievements through national excellent student exams, Chinese Olympic, excellent students of specialized high schools in the coastal and Northern Delta regions, or playgrounds such as Chinese Bridge, Chinese Debate...
“Through such experiences, in addition to being a plus point for their study abroad application, students also get to learn more from international friends,” said Ms. Ha.

To conquer top schools, according to Ms. Ha, in addition to maintaining academic achievements, having foreign language certificates, extracurricular activities, and awards in competitions, equipping students with another foreign language is also a plus to impress the admissions committee and make the application stronger.
At the Foreign Language Specialized High School, in addition to studying the first foreign language, students are given the option to study a second foreign language in parallel. As a result, most students in class 12E possess the HSK 6 certificate - the highest level of Chinese and achieve IELTS 6.5 or higher. Some students also have SAT certificates.
“With the students' initiative and the school's support, many students of class 12E have applied for scholarships themselves and have successfully applied,” said Ms. Ha.
Evaluating this result, a representative of the Foreign Language Specialized High School said that these are impressive achievements, marking the mark of Foreign Language specialized students in the journey of international integration and are proof of the school's training quality in orienting and nurturing global citizens.
“Behind these numbers are the efforts, perseverance, proactive search for opportunities and the spirit of continuous learning. Each scholarship is not only an academic achievement but also demonstrates the courage, integration mindset and aspiration to reach out - the core values that the school always fosters in its students,” the school representative shared.
