A house was buried by a landslide in Tuyen Quang.

(PLVN) - In recent days, many mountainous communes in Tuyen Quang province have experienced heavy rain, posing a high risk of landslides and flash floods.

At approximately 5 PM on June 24th, a landslide occurred in Thom Luong village, Thuong Nong commune, Na Hang district ( Tuyen Quang province), completely burying a house belonging to a local family.

Reportedly, the five-room house that was buried belonged to the family of Mr. Trieu Van Dao. Fortunately, the incident did not cause any casualties.

Immediately after the incident occurred, the leaders of Thuong Nong commune People's Committee were present at the scene, directing local forces to carry out rescue work, assist in relocating property, mitigate the consequences, and arrange temporary accommodation for Mr. Dao's family.

The Tuyen Quang provincial authorities advise residents living in hilly and mountainous areas to regularly monitor and inspect the condition of their living areas, and to proactively relocate when unusual signs appear in order to ensure the safety of their lives and property.
