Speaking at the opening of the Congress, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Linh Nam Ward Tran Dai Dung said that the Congress has the task of evaluating the results of implementing the Resolution of the past term and determining the directions and key tasks of the 2025 - 2030 term; discussing and giving comments on the documents of the Congress of Delegates of the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Hanoi City for the 2025 - 2030 term and giving comments on amending and supplementing the Charter of the Vietnam Fatherland Front; consulting on electing the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the ward for the 2025 - 2030 term and consulting on electing the Delegation to attend the Congress of Delegates of the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Hanoi City for the 2025 - 2030 term.

During the 2024-2029 term, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Linh Nam Ward has effectively implemented the action program, closely following the local political tasks. The Front has promoted the role of gathering and uniting people of all walks of life, actively participating in Party and government building, social supervision and criticism. Patriotic emulation movements, the campaigns "All people unite to build a cultural life in residential areas", "Vietnamese people prioritize using Vietnamese goods" have been widely deployed, creating positive changes in people's awareness and actions.

The Vietnam Fatherland Front of the ward has organized more than 120 propaganda sessions, mobilizing people to implement the policies of the Party and the State. Coordinated the implementation of 60 self-management models, including 18 environmental protection models and 12 security and order models. Supported more than 350 poor and near-poor households with a total gift value of over 500 million VND. Social supervision and criticism work has been promoted with more than 100 thematic supervision sessions, focusing on the fields of land, construction, and social security.

Speaking at the Congress, Vice Chairman of the City Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee Pham Anh Tuan acknowledged and highly appreciated the achievements of the Linh Nam Ward Fatherland Front. He suggested that the ward Vietnam Fatherland Front should continue to promote the strength of national solidarity, diversify forms of gathering, focus on supervision and social criticism, listen and promptly reflect the opinions and legitimate aspirations of the people, thereby improving the effectiveness of operations, contributing to building a strong political system at the grassroots level.

The Congress consulted and elected the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Linh Nam ward, term I, consisting of 34 members, elected a Standing Committee of 4 comrades and sent a delegation to attend the 18th Congress of Vietnam Fatherland Front of Hanoi city, term 2025 - 2030.
