Attending the program were comrade Do Van Chien, Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Party Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, Central organizations, Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front.

On the Banking side, there was comrade Nguyen Thi Hong, member of the Party Central Committee, Governor of the State Bank of Vietnam, and representatives of the 15 banks with the largest amount of support for the program.

At the Program, Governor of the State Bank of Vietnam Nguyen Thi Hong said that in response to the call of the Prime Minister and the Presidium of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, the banking sector has actively participated in the movement to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses for poor and near-poor households and people affected by natural disasters and climate change.

At the launching ceremony in Hoa Binh province in April 2024, 7 commercial banks pledged to support 220 billion VND. Then, at the program "Warm home for my people" in October 2024, the entire banking industry pledged an additional 1,000 billion VND. After this program, banks continued to support an additional 145 billion VND for the work of eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses in localities across the country.
Thus, from April 2024 to present, the banking sector has committed to support 1,365 billion VND. Of which, banks have supported 1,100 billion VND, the rest will be deployed when there are allocation instructions and complete documents from the locality.
In early 2025, following the direction of the Prime Minister, the Banking sector continued to launch a 350-day and night peak period, calling on officials and employees of the entire sector to support at least one day's salary to join hands to eliminate 1,000 temporary and dilapidated houses nationwide.

At the end of the program, the banking sector donated VND82 billion, equivalent to building 1,366 new houses, exceeding the target by 36.6%. Of which, VND15 billion was transferred to the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, and VND67 billion was directly supported to localities.
Governor Nguyen Thi Hong affirmed that the banking sector will continue to accompany the political system in social security work, determined to contribute to the goal of eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses before August 31, 2025.
Congratulating the proud achievements of the Banking sector which have made great contributions to the development of the country, comrade Do Van Chien informed that, based on the practical situation, the Politburo decided to establish the Party Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and central mass organizations to comprehensively lead the political system of the Fatherland Front and central mass organizations. Currently, the Party Committee has 25 subordinate Party Committees, including 4 grassroots Party Committees, 5,000 Party members...
Congratulating the banking sector on its practical contributions to the country’s development, Comrade Do Van Chien said that the Politburo has decided to establish the Vietnam Fatherland Front Party Committee and central mass organizations to comprehensively lead the political system of this bloc. Currently, the Party Committee has 25 subordinate Party Committees, including 4 grassroots Party Committees and about 5,000 Party members.

On behalf of the beneficiaries and the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, comrade Do Van Chien expressed his gratitude to the banking sector for always paying attention and accompanying in social security work, contributing to helping thousands of people have housing, and together building an increasingly strong national solidarity bloc.

It is your contribution that has helped the entire Party, the entire people, and the entire army realize Resolution No. 42 of the Central Executive Committee, bringing the Program to the finish line ahead of schedule.”
At the Program, Governor Nguyen Thi Hong presented a sign symbolizing the amount of money donated to the Program and Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Do Van Chien presented a letter of thanks from the Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front to representatives of the Banking sector.
