The decision to sell Rasmus Hojlund and bring in Benjamin Sesko is raising many questions for the "Red Devils" management, especially given the contrasting form of the two strikers.
In the early hours of December 23rd, Hojlund and Napoli were crowned champions of the Italian Super Cup. Previously considered to have failed to live up to expectations at Old Trafford, the Danish striker has consistently scored goals and won his first title for his new club in less than half a year since joining.
So far this season, Hojlund has scored 12 goals and provided 3 assists for Napoli, becoming one of the standout attacking players for the Serie A club.
In contrast to Hojlund, Sesko has yet to live up to expectations. Despite his physique, speed, and great potential, the Slovenian forward has only scored two goals and provided one assist since the start of the season.

This performance is considered far too low for a striker entrusted with leading the attack of an ambitious team like Manchester United. More importantly, Sesko has not shown any signs of being able to replace Hojlund and shoulder the responsibility of leading the Red Devils' attack.
The disparity in form between the two players quickly sparked a wave of criticism from fans and experts. Many argued that the problem lay not only with Sesko personally, but also stemmed from how MU utilized the player and the unstable playing environment at Old Trafford.
Meanwhile, Hojlund has benefited from Antonio Conte's suitable tactical system and the trust he has earned at Napoli, allowing him to maximize his goal-scoring potential.
