The stage of “The Train: Spring” is designed with multiple layers and a grid LED system, creating transparent, artistic visual effects. The train - the symbolic image of the live concert - was kept by Phan Manh Quynh at the center of the stage from the night in Ho Chi Minh City to Hanoi, connecting memories, between Phan Manh Quynh and the audience, between music and the heart.
“The Train: Spring” is directed by Nguyen Huu Trung, Music Director Nguyen Huu Vuong and Creative Director Ben Pham. Phan Manh Quynh tells the story of spring through gentle, wistful and poetic melodies. The musical space gradually opens up many layers of time, from youth, love, memories, sadness to unfinished dreams...
Phan Manh Quynh opened “The Train: Spring” with “Ngay chua gio bao”, the soundtrack song of the movie “Nguoi bat tu”, and also a hit song associated with the names of many singers such as Bui Lan Huong, Tung Duong... Performing a big music night for the first time in Hanoi, the male singer - musician shared: “Ngay chua gio bao symbolizes the difficulties we sometimes have to overcome. I hope that we will have beautiful memories together, and will live together in an emotional musical space”.
As a composer of many “hit” songs (songs that many people listen to) and many outstanding film soundtracks, Phan Manh Quynh has taken the audience through many emotional ranges with songs that are loved by many audiences such as: “Ai cung co ngay xua”, “Con tim tan biec”, “Tu do - Toi chi muon noi - Ha Lan” (soundtrack of the film Mat biec)… Besides, the audience also gets to enjoy Phan Manh Quynh’s early compositions such as: “Anh ghet em lam ban”, “Em chua tru biet”, “Goc am sau hanh phuc”, “Loi tu trai tim anh”…
Phan Manh Quynh's live concert had no MC. He sang and told his own musical story in his own way, humorous and friendly. This brought a very unique appeal and the Hanoi audience gave many rounds of applause to his stories.
Phan Manh Quynh's "Train: Spring" journey has the participation of guests.
The first guest to appear at “Hanoi Station” with Phan Manh Quynh was Bui Lan Huong. She sang a duet with the live concert host the songs “Tri ky”, “Ngay mai em se la ky uc - Anh”, “ The gioi va em”. During the music night, the female singer also brought the dance troupe on stage in the performance “Me bua cam” (including: Me muoi and Bua me).
Hoang Dung is considered an interesting “unknown” when he first collaborated with Phan Manh Quynh in the mash-up “Sao cha khong - Di dau de thay hoa bay” and the song “Nang tho”. Besides the duets, Hoang Dung surprised the audience with his emotional and fresh performance of two compositions “Khi nguoi minh yeu khoc” and “Nhat” by Phan Manh Quynh.
During the music night in Hanoi, Phan Manh Quynh dedicated his musical space to his life partner. He performed the song “Gập hỏi yêu tình và bạn bạn” – a song he wrote specifically for his wedding.
The special highlight of Phan Manh Quynh's concert was the appearance of singer Ha Anh Tuan - the person who brought Phan Manh Quynh to the first big concert stage in 2018. The two had an emotional duet with the songs: "Nguoc Ngoai" and "Xuan Thi". Phan Manh Quynh and Ha Anh Tuan recalled the beautiful memories in their long journey together, including many songs that Phan Manh Quynh wrote specifically for Ha Anh Tuan. Therefore, in this concert, singer Ha Anh Tuan made Phan Manh Quynh's concert even more attractive with the songs: "Co gai va cay piano", "Thuong em" and most recently "Hoa hong". The Hanoi audience was very excited to interact and sing with Ha Anh Tuan.
After the performances with the guests, Phan Manh Quynh concluded the night with hits that left an impression in his career. They were “Vo nguoi ta”, “Co chang trai viet len cay”, “Sau loi tu xu”. These are the “hits” that affirmed the mark of the “king of film music”. More than 4,000 audiences at Quan Ngua Sports Palace sang along to the familiar songs of the Nghe An boy. “Chuyen Tau: Mua Xuan” in Hanoi ended, bringing a delicate and emotional musical journey to the capital’s audience.
