Flood warning for areas at risk of flooding: Dong Nai River and La Nga River, from upstream to the communes of Dak Lua, Nam Cat Tien, Ta Lai, Thanh Son, Phu Vinh, Phu Lam, Tan Phu, Phu Hoa, Dinh Quan in Dong Nai province; low-lying areas along Tri An lake, in the communes of Phu Ly, Thanh Son, Dinh Quan, Xuan Bac, La Nga, Thong Nhat, Bau Ham, Tri An; low-lying areas along the river in the downstream of Dong Nai river, in the wards and communes of Tri An, Tan An, Trang Dai, Tan Trieu, Bien Hoa, Tran Bien, Tam Hiep, Long Hung, Phuoc Tan, Tam Phuoc, An Phuoc, Nhon Trach, Dai Phuoc, Phuoc An in Dong Nai province and neighboring areas.
It is forecasted that in the next 24 hours, the water level in the rivers on the Dong Nai river system and Tri An lake will slowly decrease. Specifically, the water level at Ta Lai station will be below alert level 2, while at Phu Hiep and Tri An stations, the water level will be at alert level 1. At Bien Hoa station, the peak tide level will change slowly, and the peak tide will likely remain at approximately alert level 2 (2m). The flood warning level may occur at alert level 1.
Dong Nai Hydrometeorological Station noted that people in the downstream area of Dong Nai River and low-lying areas should proactively prevent damage caused by high tides, especially high tides combined with heavy rain, by reinforcing and raising the foundation of works, taking measures to prevent flooding suitable for each situation, clearing the flow, elevating assets and household appliances, and paying attention to safety in using electricity.
