Flood warnings apply to the following areas: the Dong Nai River and La Nga River, from the upstream areas to the communes of Dak Lua, Nam Cat Tien, Ta Lai, Thanh Son, Phu Vinh, Phu Lam, Tan Phu, Phu Hoa, and Dinh Quan in Dong Nai province; low-lying areas along Tri An Lake, in the communes of Phu Ly, Thanh Son, Dinh Quan, Xuan Bac, La Nga, Thong Nhat, Bau Ham, and Tri An; and low-lying areas along the downstream Dong Nai River, in the communes of Tri An, Tan An, Trang Dai, Tan Trieu, Bien Hoa, Tran Bien, Tam Hiep, Long Hung, Phuoc Tan, Tam Phuoc, An Phuoc, Nhon Trach, Dai Phuoc, and Phuoc An in Dong Nai province and surrounding areas.
Forecast for the next 24 hours: Water levels in rivers on the Dong Nai River system and Tri An Lake will recede slowly. Specifically, at Ta Lai station, water levels will be below alarm level 2, while at Phu Hiep and Tri An stations, water levels will be at alarm level 1. At Bien Hoa station, peak tide levels will change slowly, with the high tide likely remaining at approximately alarm level 2 (2m). Flood warning level 1 may be issued.
The Dong Nai Meteorological and Hydrological Station advises residents in the downstream areas of the Dong Nai River and low-lying areas to proactively take precautions against the harmful effects of tidal surges, especially those combined with heavy rain, by reinforcing and raising the foundations of buildings, implementing appropriate flood prevention measures, clearing waterways, elevating property and household appliances, and prioritizing electrical safety.
