One of the causes of many traffic accidents is that many people drink alcohol before driving, swerve, weave, speed, overtake recklessly, run red lights, drive against the flow of traffic; children who are not old enough to drive still operate vehicles...
In the first quarter of 2023 alone, the traffic police force throughout the province inspected, detected, and handled over 8,300 violations, collecting over 14.5 billion VND for the State budget. Of these, violations related to alcohol levels accounted for the highest number with nearly 2,500 cases; not wearing a helmet accounted for 2,016 cases; overloading accounted for 192 cases; driving without a license accounted for 1,409 cases; driving licenses were revoked in 1,999 cases; and 218 cars and 3,129 motorcycles were temporarily seized.
