(Haiphong.gov.vn) - On the afternoon of January 12, the People's Committee of Hai An district held a conference to review the Emulation and Reward work in 2023; to implement the Resolution of the District Party Committee and the Resolution of the District People's Council on socio-economic development tasks and launch emulation in 2024.

Reporting on the summary of emulation and reward work at the Conference, Vice Chairman of Hai An District People's Committee Tran Thi Kim Oanh emphasized that in 2023, the Party Committee - District Government, together with the joint efforts of the People and the business community, have been determined, flexible and creative in implementing the annual Theme. The socio-economic situation of the district has improved in many areas, especially some areas have recovered quickly and had breakthrough growth, the total budget revenue in the district exceeded the city's assigned estimate, the district's assigned estimate and compared to the same period last year; the total production value of economic sectors in the area for the whole year is estimated at 229,993 billion VND, equal to 131.4% of the city's assigned plan, up 28.1% over the same period... contributing positively to the district's socio-economic growth.

At the Conference, Permanent Vice Chairman of the District People's Committee Nguyen Van Tuan announced the Decisions of the Hai An District People's Committee on assigning targets for the 2024 Socio-Economic Development Plan; assigning the 2024 Budget Revenue and Expenditure Estimates; issuing the 2024 Work Program and issuing the Program for implementing the 2024 Action Theme. The Conference also approved the content of the emulation covenant and conducted the signing of the emulation covenant in 2024.
