On October 25, according to the working program of the 6th Session, the 15th National Assembly conducted the process of taking a vote of confidence for 44 positions elected and approved by the National Assembly by secret ballot. This is one of the highlights of the session's program, attracting the attention of many voters and people nationwide.
Discussing the results of the vote of confidence on the sidelines of the National Assembly, National Assembly deputies emphasized that the vote of confidence demonstrates the National Assembly's recognition and fair assessment of the efforts, attempts and work results since the beginning of the term of those who were voted for.

Highly appreciating the results this time, according to delegate Trinh Xuan An (Dong Nai), through the vote of confidence, the National Assembly has successfully performed the most important function in the supervision activity. The vote of confidence has been carefully and thoroughly prepared by the National Assembly in terms of documents and texts and has issued very strict regulations.
“We are National Assembly deputies who have been assigned this important task for the first time and feel very honored and responsible. I observed that the deputies have made very fair and objective assessments that are also very close to the fields and contents required by Resolution No. 96 of the National Assembly and the law,” said delegate Trinh Xuan An.
Referring to the voting results, delegate Trinh Xuan An analyzed that, given the requirements of reality, industries and fields that directly impact society, people, businesses... will usually have a slightly higher or lower trust rate.
There are areas where the rate of low confidence votes is higher than other areas. According to the delegate of Dong Nai province, this assessment by the National Assembly delegate is also completely responsible, objective and fair.
“In the past time, we have faced many difficulties. I think that the evaluation votes with the Government, the ministries and branches directly in charge are both encouragement and a demonstration of responsibility because there are requirements for that field that need to continue to make greater efforts. The fields with high low confidence votes such as science and technology, education and training, industry and trade... are all fields that the people as well as National Assembly deputies require more efforts to overcome, to meet the needs of the people and voters,” said delegate Trinh Xuan An.
According to delegate An, there are ministers and industry leaders with low and high confidence votes. This is not a terrible or disappointing thing, but it is a requirement of the National Assembly delegates for industry leaders to look back at the results achieved, thereby making adjustments and making more efforts.
“The good news about this vote is that no one has been disciplined under Resolution 96. That is also true because the sectors have made great efforts in the past time, especially after 2 years of preventing and fighting the Covid-19 pandemic. Many problems and demands of life require more effort,” said delegate An.
The full-time member of the National Assembly's Committee on National Defense and Security also affirmed that the results of this vote of confidence are not only to follow normal procedures, but also have a widespread impact on management, socio-economics, personnel work, especially on the management ability of industry commanders to aim for better results from now until the end of the term.

Sharing the same view, delegate Truong Xuan Cu (Hanoi) said that this is an educational result, reflecting high objectivity.
“Through the results of this vote of confidence, it must be affirmed that the reflection of the National Assembly's confidence is quite accurate. In fact, the positions holding important positions with low confidence votes are still high, and high confidence votes are still low, which are really problematic. There are social issues that make us feel unsatisfied and uncertain,” said delegate Truong Xuan Cu.
Regarding positions that receive low trust, the Hanoi delegation affirmed that there is no other way but to overcome the limitations and difficulties in the reality of their sector, because each sector has its own limitations. By overcoming those limitations and difficulties, the roles and functions of the positions assigned by the Party and State will be more clearly, specifically and effectively demonstrated.
At the same time, through the vote of confidence, these positions can also look back and work with the leadership to build and enhance people's trust, to have a way to overcome and limit difficulties in the face of pressing issues facing the agency and the sector they are in charge of that are of public concern.
"Certainly, through this vote of confidence, ministers and heads of sectors will have the motivation to further improve their leadership, direction and management effectiveness to satisfy the people and National Assembly deputies," said delegate Truong Xuan Cu.

Affirming that the results of the vote of confidence that have just been announced are objective and honest in all areas of the positions that were voted for, delegate Hoang Thi Thanh Thuy - Deputy Head of the National Assembly Delegation of Tay Ninh province said that the results of the vote of confidence are an opportunity for those who were voted for to review their shortcomings and limitations in order to make more efforts in the coming time.
According to delegate Hoang Thi Thanh Thuy, the commanders of some fields with low and high confidence votes such as: Education and training, science and technology, industry and trade... are all sectors that still have some existing problems, certain limitations and are of great concern to voters and National Assembly delegates.
“The minister is the one who “bears the brunt” and is the captain, so he will face many difficulties in resolving the problems and shortcomings of the industry. From the results of this vote of confidence, the people and National Assembly deputies will supervise the “commanders” in resolving the problems and limitations in industries with high and low confidence votes,” said delegate Hoang Thi Thanh Thuy.
