Improve knowledge of organic agricultural production and OCOP product development process

QTO - Implementing the Project "Cooperatives managed by women, creating jobs for female workers by 2030", on October 7, the Women's Union of Quang Tri province organized a training course to improve knowledge in organic agricultural production and the process of building OCOP products by 2025.

Attending the training course were 79 trainees from management boards, cooperatives, and cooperatives owned by women from 24 communes and wards across the province.

At the training course, the trainees were given knowledge and experience in applying science and technology in safe agricultural production in the organic direction and developing OCOP products, such as: Production of organic agricultural products, selection process for developing OCOP products, effectiveness of developing local specialty products into OCOP products... At the same time, they discussed, shared and had their difficulties and problems in the process of developing local economic models resolved.

The training course aims to improve the capacity of women members who want to participate in cooperatives and cooperatives on safe agricultural production, orienting the development, standardization and completion of potential OCOP products. At the same time, providing knowledge and skills for management boards and members of cooperatives and cooperatives owned by women in the production and trading of local specialties, applying digital technology and e-commerce to improve the quality of products and services, affirming the role of women in economic development...
