Tan Phu Commune is one of the localities that has been without electricity for many days due to the impact of storms and rains, making the daily life and production recovery of the people difficult. As of October 8, according to Mr. Vi Van Quang - Chairman of the Commune People's Committee, 15/30 hamlets have had electricity restored. The remaining hamlets are being urgently repaired by the electricity sector due to some broken electric poles and damaged power lines.

Quy Chau commune is also one of the localities that suffered heavy damage due to floods, many areas were deeply flooded and had prolonged power outages. However, up to now, all hamlets in the area have had their power restored.
"Immediately after the electricity was restored, people took the opportunity to clean up and repair their houses, restore production, and gradually stabilize their lives," said Mr. Nguyen Van Dung - Chairman of the People's Committee of Quy Chau commune.
Not only Tan Phu and Quy Chau, but according to surveys, most other localities in the province have also had their power restored. In the weak areas, teams of workers are actively checking and ensuring safety before turning on the power.

According to the report of Nghe An Electricity Company, as of 12 noon on October 8, the entire power system in the province has been restored. The 110kV grid has been operating stably with 16/16 transformer stations and 41/41 power lines energized.
At the medium voltage level, out of a total of 7,963 transformer stations managed by Nghe An Electricity, 7,957 stations were affected and all have been restored; 76 of these stations are currently actively cutting off power due to flooded areas, and will be re-energized when safety conditions are ensured. In addition, 172 affected medium voltage lines have been restored, with only one branch unable to supply power because the area is still flooded.

The province has 1,095,883 electricity customers, of which 1,095,877 are affected. Up to now, all of these customers have had their electricity restored, reaching 100% (except for areas that are actively cutting off electricity due to flooding or not yet meeting safety conditions to turn on electricity).
It is known that after the storm, the Northern Power Corporation mobilized 700 shock workers from many northern provinces to support Nghe An, including highly skilled forces, fully equipped with vehicles, cranes and specialized equipment. Along with more than 1,400 officers and workers of Nghe An Power, the entire power industry mobilized more than 2,000 people to directly participate in troubleshooting.
Despite heavy rain after the storm, traffic was cut off, and many areas were deeply flooded, the power teams still worked day and night to erect poles, connect wires, replace equipment, and partially turn on electricity, ensuring absolute safety for people and the system.
In the face of complicated weather developments, Nghe An Electricity has strictly instructed to only turn on electricity when the area is dry and the equipment meets technical requirements. Flooded areas will be regularly monitored and restored as soon as conditions are met. By 12 noon on October 8, it can be confirmed that Nghe An has basically completed repairing the damage to the power grid after storm No. 10.
