Enhancing the capacity of female People's Council delegates at the commune level

QTO - The number of female cadres in Quang Tri province participating in the management system is increasingly high. To help women promote their role and affirm their position in society, recently, the project "Strengthening the capacity of female delegates of People's Councils at the commune level in Quang Tri province" sponsored by Oxfam has implemented many activities, seminars, and trainings, bringing practical results.

The project is implemented to support female People's Council delegates and Women's Union officials at the commune level, including: Vinh Hoang, Ben Hai, Gio Linh, Nam Cua Viet, Trieu Co, Trieu Phong, Hai Lang, Nam Hai Lang and Quang Tri ward.

Participating in seminars, workshops, and training sessions, female delegates of People's Councils of communes and wards, female cadres and members have learned about policy examination and supervision, mobilization and management of resources for implementation in the locality...

Through this, women clearly understand the functions and tasks of supervision and social criticism of the People's Council, People's Council delegates and the Women's Union at the commune level in the 2-level local government model. At the same time, they master the process, content, and methods of examining and supervising policies at the local level; apply supervision skills to real-life situations..., thereby contributing to improving capacity and successfully completing assigned tasks.
