
Attending the event were representatives of leaders of departments, offices, the Ministry of Health Office, leaders of the Central Center for Health Communication and Education; leaders of the Da Nang City Department of Health, representatives of the Center for Disease Control (CDC) of some localities; along with many officers in charge and officers directly working on health communication and education at the grassroots level.
Speaking at the opening of the workshop, journalist Vu Manh Cuong, Director of the Central Center for Health Communication and Education , said that health communication and education work always receives special attention from leaders of the Party, State, Government and the health sector.

According to Director of the Central Center for Communication and Health Education Vu Manh Cuong, in all the State's policies, strategies, plans, and action programs of the Government on people's health care and protection, especially Resolution 72/NQ-TW dated September 9, 2025 of the Politburo on a number of breakthrough solutions to strengthen the protection, care, and improvement of people's health, communication work is identified as one of the important solutions to bring resolutions and policies into life.
Reports on the implementation of health education communication work in the first 9 months of 2025 of provinces and cities show that health education communication work is still being carried out continuously and effectively, and many communication activities have been strongly deployed.
In particular, communication activities through mass media networks, social networks, thematic communication campaigns, medical event-based communication, and integrated communication have been carried out with high frequency and have achieved encouraging results, many activities have achieved and exceeded the set plan.

Director of the Central Center for Health Communication and Education Vu Manh Cuong said that in the new context, the Ministry of Health directed the Departments of Health of provinces and cities to strengthen direct guidance to the commune level, review and adjust communication plans in accordance with new administrative boundaries, ensure data connectivity, centralized monitoring and smart management between the provincial and commune levels, and avoid congestion or interruption in health policy communication.
Director of the Central Center for Communication and Health Education Vu Manh Cuong stated that the Departments of Health need to coordinate with commune health stations to develop specific communication plans, ensuring that commune-level health stations have enough human resources, equipment and training in digital communication skills, in accordance with the 2-level model, in order to effectively implement the breakthrough goals of Resolution 72/NQ-TW.

At the workshop, delegates focused on discussing four key points: Comprehensive assessment of the current status of communication work in the provinces in 2025; specific assessment of the current status of supervision and direction work before and after the merger; specific orientation of the 2026 communication plan; solutions to improve communication capacity at commune health stations.
Thereby, thoroughly discuss issues of health education communication for both the immediate and long-term stages, to ensure both overcoming immediate difficulties and consolidating and building a long-term foundation.

On this occasion, the leaders of the Central Center for Health Communication and Education, on behalf of Permanent Deputy Minister of Health Vu Manh Ha, presented gifts to the commune health stations in difficult and flood-affected areas in Da Nang.
