In his closing speech, journalist Le Quoc Minh, member of the Party Central Committee, Editor-in-Chief of Nhan Dan Newspaper, Chairman of the Vietnam Journalists Association , highly appreciated the efforts, enthusiasm, and dedication of nearly 70 speakers for the 2025 National Press Forum. Despite being extremely busy in the series of events celebrating 100 years of Vietnam Revolutionary Press, the speakers still tried to arrange to take care of each discussion session, carefully and thoughtfully from the stages of building topics, scripts to the way of organizing and selecting guests.

According to journalist Le Quoc Minh, there were scripts in the discussion sessions that were revised until the last minute, presentations and slides were continuously updated just a few hours before the session took place, and some speakers had to go on another business trip right after the discussion session ended...
In addition, there was also the participation of many people with a high sense of responsibility, the special interest and concern of hundreds of delegates who were journalists, leaders of press agencies, press managers, journalists, journalism students and the public who love journalism.
“All of these have brought the 2025 National Press Forum 12 truly high-quality sessions, especially 10 thematic discussions that were organized methodically and scientifically , with highly topical topics and rich content, attracting great attention from the press and the public,” said journalist Le Quoc Minh.

Emphasizing the context of the world changing strongly under the impact of digital technology , artificial intelligence and globalization, journalist Le Quoc Minh said that Vietnamese press is facing unprecedented challenges, while opening up great opportunities if it knows how to proactively adapt and innovate. In particular, the rise of social media videos and news based on individuals is a huge challenge, directly affecting mainstream press agencies.
However, the new era also brings many opportunities for the press to assert its leading role. In particular, the most necessary good thing right now in the context of AI prevailing and creating a huge amount of content, in order to preserve its existence and develop sustainably, the only solution is that the press needs to focus on content quality and core values, the press must redefine its mission, not to report the news the fastest, but to bring the deepest and most trustworthy value.
“Those concerns are also the main topics of discussion at this year’s National Press Forum. This is not only an intellectual space and dialogue for journalists across the country, but also a place to open up ways for the Vietnamese press to innovate and create in the spirit of Resolution 57 and Resolution 18, towards a truly professional, modern and humane press in the era of national development,” emphasized journalist Le Quoc Minh.

At the closing ceremony, journalist Le Quoc Minh shared about each discussion session: “Vietnamese journalism in the new era: Vision for creating development space”; “Female leaders in journalism: Women's voices in news management”; “Conquering Gen Z readers: Decoding the formula for success”; “Artificial intelligence and digital transformation strategies of Vietnamese press offices”; “Data journalism in Vietnamese news offices”; “Television adapts to the new media environment”; “What mechanism for radio to develop in the current period?”; “Revenue sources in the digital age: Not just advertising, journalism must sell more!”; “Personalizing content to keep readers loyal”; “Resolution 18 and the requirement for innovation in press personnel”.
“The 2nd National Press Forum - 2025 was a success, an important highlight, opening up creative space, to raise the strategic level for Vietnamese revolutionary press on the journey to rise up with the nation, worthy of professional, humane, and modern journalism”, affirmed the President of the Vietnam Journalists Association.
