On the night of November 20, military facilities in the rear of Ukraine were targeted by the Russian Armed Forces. Of particular interest was the Starokonstantinov airfield in the Khmelnitsky region, where Su-24M fighter jets capable of carrying Storm Shadow missiles were deployed.
In addition, Russia launched strikes against several other strategic targets in the Cherkassy, Rivne, Chernigov, Sumy, Kirovograd, Poltava, Vinnytsia and Dnepropetrovsk regions. The main targets appear to be arms and ammunition depots as well as fuel storage facilities used by the Ukrainian military.

The Russian Defense Minister also revealed that since the special military operation was launched, Russian forces have conducted more than 270 missile strikes on various targets in the Ukrainian-controlled area. On the night of November 21, the Russian military also launched a large wave of attacks on Ukrainian military facilities in many regions. Russian attacks were reported in the Khmelnytsky, Volyn, Rivne, Dnipropetrovsk and Kiev regions, as well as in areas controlled by the Ukrainian military in the self-proclaimed Donetsk People's Republic.
Russian drones were also spotted in several regions of Ukraine. The suicide drones reportedly attacked Ukrainian military weapons and ammunition depots as well as fuel depots. Air warnings were sounded in the regions of Cherkasy, Rivne, Chernihiv, Sumy, Kirovograd, Poltava, Vinnytsia, Dnipropetrovsk.
At the same time, Russian precision strikes also destroyed many Ukrainian military facilities in areas close to the front line. At night, Russia launched a missile attack on the Ukrainian military base located at the Central City Hospital in the village of Svidlovo in the Donetsk People's Republic (self-proclaimed). According to preliminary reports, many Ukrainian servicemen were killed.
