The new generation Bentley Continental GTC Speed is resurrected in a colour from Bentley's history with the vibrant and striking shade of 'Violette' – as part of a special creation for UK customers. This colour reflects the customer's personalisation and combines Gloss Black exterior details, including a high-gloss black Bentley badge. The dark grey 7-layer woven fabric roof adds a modern element to the car's exterior.
Violette is no problem for Bentley’s paint technicians, who can recreate any color from the brand’s history. Previously, technicians have recreated Sage Green from 1950, Shell Grey from 1960, and Rubino Red from 2000. Special colour orders reflect Bentley customers’ growing desire for personalisation, with over 70% of customers now selecting at least one Mulliner feature in their vehicle configuration. The interior is a two-tone White and Purple combination. Mulliner has used Tanzanite Purple leather to reflect the unique tones of the exterior. This purple shade is applied to the center console, 3D leather door panels, steering wheel and seat backs, while Linen leather is used on the seats, steering wheel and center console to highlight the richness of the purple.
Lilac accents are woven throughout the leather and stitched interior, including the gear lever and 6 o’clock marker on the steering wheel. The fine stitching and lilac seat piping add depth and sophistication, contrasting with the tactile surfaces of the stone inlays and 3D textured leather, reflecting the freedom of expression achieved through co-creation with Mulliner. Stone Finish is a cutting-edge finish created by Bentley, combining centuries of craftsmanship with cutting-edge technology. Mulliner’s teams are able to use 200 million year old stone to create fascias, dashboards and waistrails in a coating as thin as 0.1mm. These have a natural tactile texture and are available in four shades (Autumn, Copper, Galaxy and Terra Red). The cockpit is further enhanced with Bentley's signature rotating display, the flagship Naim for Bentley audio system and a number of bold chrome details first introduced on the fourth-generation Continental GT. The new Continental GTC Speed is the most powerful open-top Grand Tourer Bentley has ever built. The Ultra-Performance Hybrid V8 powertrain produces 770 hp (782 PS) and 730 lb-ft (1,000 Nm) of torque. 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) takes 3.4 seconds. Top speed is 175 mph (285 km/h) and you can raise or lower the roof at speeds of up to 31 mph (50 km/h).
The owner of the new generation Continental GTC Speed in Violette Purple is a special person who has owned many previous Bentley models. Among them, there are 6 Bentaygas, one of which is Magenta and 1 Continental GT in Scarab Green. For this special customer, Bentley should not only be a safe color in the traditional way but also reflect personality and personalization. This guest also experienced the excitement of accompanying the Speed Six Continuation Series, the new version of the Speed Six, "the most successful Bentley racing car of all time", to this year's Goodwood Festival of Speed.
