OCB Bank stands out at the National Achievements Exhibition.

(Chinhphu.vn) - Orient Commercial Bank (OCB) is honored to participate in the National Achievements Exhibition with the theme "80 Years of Independence - Freedom - Happiness," which opened on August 28th in Hanoi. OCB showcased a range of superior digital financial products at the exhibition, most notably its Open Banking model, creating a comprehensive digital ecosystem for individual and corporate customers.

Open banking is now considered the future of the financial industry, where banks securely share data with third parties (such as fintech companies and businesses) through application programming interfaces (APIs) with customer permission.

Currently, OCB is one of the pioneering banks in implementing this model, committed to developing APIs on a highly secure platform, strictly adhering to current legal regulations, especially Circular 64/2024/TT-NHNN, in order to create an absolutely safe and transparent transaction environment.

To date, OCB has successfully implemented a series of convenient products and services, helping businesses optimize and digitize their financial operations, such as: OCB VietQR; Instant credit notification for collection services; Payroll payment via Open API - Automating the payroll process directly on the company's platform,...

The bank is also constantly expanding its product ecosystem to quickly meet market demands. A prime example is OCB Smart Merchant - a smart sales and payment management platform, one of the superior digital solutions introduced at this exhibition.

OCB improves service quality.

Accordingly, OCB Smart Merchant allows businesses to proactively manage and track operations, orders, revenue, expenses, accounts receivable, and actual cash flow on a single platform, saving a range of costs from technology infrastructure, personnel, and operations; while also shortening processing time by up to 97% and operating costs by up to 25% thanks to its ability to automate data reconciliation, completely replacing the manual reconciliation process which is time-consuming and prone to errors.

Furthermore, integrating electronic invoicing directly into the sales software allows businesses to synchronize directly with the tax authority's system, ensuring compliance with Decree 70/2025/ND-CP.

In particular, this digitization helps bring transparency and accuracy to transaction data. From there, banks can access real-time data, control and assess the cash flow of businesses, build objective credit scores that accurately reflect financial capacity and creditworthiness.

Based on this database, banks can design flexible financing packages such as quick cash advances, working capital loans, or credit lines. This solution is particularly useful for SMEs and household businesses, helping them easily access capital.

As of June 30, 2025, the number of transactions connecting to OCB's Open API increased by 57.9% year-on-year. Transaction value increased by 184.8%. Average CASA increased by 31.8%.

OCB is a pioneer in banking digitalization.

At the event, OCB also introduced other outstanding digital products to customers, demonstrating the bank's pioneering vision for digitalization. These include the OCB OMNI application, which integrates over 200 features in a single platform and utilizes the most advanced FIDO security technology currently available. Liobank – a digital bank specifically for young people – stands out with unique features such as "Shake to pay" transfers and the Liobank Visa 2-in-1 card integrating both debit and credit cards; free transactions and instant 20% cashback on spending… along with a range of OCB credit cards that can be easily registered 100% online with many modern payment conveniences and cashback programs up to VND 18 million per year.

With a strategy of continuing to focus on individual customers, household businesses, small and medium-sized enterprises, and startups; leading capital flows, promoting green finance and strong digital transformation… OCB not only simply provides unique products but also continuously creates a complete digital financial ecosystem, in line with the spirit of Resolution No. 68 of the Politburo on the development of the private economy.
