Although it is a holiday on the occasion of National Day September 2, units of the Finance sector such as the State Treasury, State Bank, credit institutions, etc. are still on duty to ensure smooth payment and settlement to promptly serve the gift giving to the people according to the direction of the Prime Minister .

Mr. Nguyen Duc Mao - Deputy Director of State Treasury Region XIV said that, implementing the State Treasury's telegram related to giving gifts to the people on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day September 2, the unit has urgently deployed tasks to ensure timely payment to the right subjects and in accordance with regulations. Accordingly, during the holiday, the unit has arranged for all civil servants (including leaders and specialists) to be on duty from August 30 to September 2. State Treasury Region XIV also directed transaction offices to closely coordinate with the People's Committees at the commune level and commercial banks where the State Treasury opens accounts to organize payments by bank transfer or cash in accordance with the instructions of the Ministry of Finance ; At the same time, arrange a standing unit, ready to support localities in handling situations arising during the implementation process to promptly resolve difficulties and obstacles to deploy the September 2 gift giving to the people on schedule. As of 4:00 p.m. on August 30, the State Treasury of Region XIV had disbursed 50.47 billion VND to 17 communes and wards.

Staff of Transaction Office No. 1 (under the State Treasury Region XIV) headquartered in Cam Ranh ward were on duty throughout the September 2 holiday.

For the banking sector, the State Bank of Vietnam, Region 10, has sent a document to credit institution branches in the area regarding the time for cash transactions during the National Day holiday of September 2. Accordingly, from August 30 to September 2, the State Bank of Vietnam, Region 10, will conduct cash transactions for credit institutions to meet the needs of money transfers and cash withdrawals for gifts to the people from 8:00 to 10:30 and from 14:00 to before 16:00. At the same time, the time to stop receiving payment documents of the national interbank electronic payment system during the holiday is adjusted to 16:00 every day. The State Bank also directed credit institutions where commune-level People's Committees open accounts to proactively coordinate closely with local authorities, the State Treasury and relevant agencies in transferring gifts to people, in accordance with the operating time of the national interbank electronic payment system during the National Day holiday on September 2.

Officials and civil servants of the State Treasury of Region XIV were on duty on August 30 to ensure payment for the September 2 gift-giving activities for the people.

Previously, the Department of Finance had reported to the Provincial People's Committee on supplementing funds for giving gifts to the people on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day September 2. Based on the statistics on the population in the area provided by the Provincial Police, the Department of Finance submitted to the Provincial People's Committee to supplement VND 227,091 billion for 65 communes, wards, and special zones from the provincial budget reserve in 2025 to give gifts to the people.
