September 28, inauguration of the Memorial Site of the Head of the National Assembly Standing Committee Bui Bang Doan

The inauguration ceremony is one of a series of activities towards the 80th Anniversary of the First General Election to elect the Vietnamese National Assembly, to honor and express gratitude for the great contributions of the Chairman of the National Assembly Standing Committee Bui Bang Doan - who made many important contributions to the revolutionary cause of the Vietnamese National Assembly.

Information from the Office of the National Assembly said that, implementing Project No. 1856-DA/BCĐ dated August 29, 2023, Plan No. 13-KH/BCĐ dated March 26, 2025 of the Steering Committee on organizing activities to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the first General Election to elect the National Assembly of Vietnam (January 6, 1946 - January 6, 2026), recently, the Hanoi People's Committee has completed the Project of the Memorial Area of ​​the Head of the National Assembly Standing Committee Bui Bang Doan.

To mark this meaningful event, on the morning of September 28, the National Assembly Office will preside over and coordinate with the Hanoi People's Committee to organize the inauguration ceremony of the Memorial Site of the Head of the National Assembly Standing Committee Bui Bang Doan at the Cultural House of Bat Chua village, Ung Thien commune, Hanoi city.

Attending the ceremony were leaders and former leaders of the National Assembly; Vice Chairmen of the National Assembly, members of the National Assembly Standing Committee; Steering Committee, Organizing Committee of the 80th Anniversary of the First General Election to elect the National Assembly of Vietnam; Standing Committee of the Ethnic Council , Committees of the National Assembly, leaders of the National Assembly Office; representatives of departments and specialized units of the National Assembly agencies; representatives of leaders of ministries, departments and branches at the central level and leaders of Hanoi city; representatives of the family and clan of Head of the National Assembly Standing Committee Bui Bang Doan...

The inauguration ceremony of the Memorial Site of the Head of the National Assembly Standing Committee Bui Bang Doan is one of a series of activities towards the 80th Anniversary of the First General Election to elect the National Assembly of Vietnam, to honor and express gratitude for the great contributions of the Head of the National Assembly Standing Committee Bui Bang Doan - a patriot, a typical political activist, who made many important contributions to the revolutionary cause of the National Assembly of Vietnam.

This is also an opportunity for the Party, State and National Assembly to show their care and gratitude to their predecessors, thereby fostering national pride and strengthening people's trust in the Party's leadership in the cause of innovation, building and defending the Fatherland; at the same time, educating the tradition of patriotism, "spirit of loyalty to the country, filial piety to the people" for generations of cadres and party members, especially the young generation.

In addition, with the goal of developing culture-tourism and educating local historical traditions, the Memorial Area will become a "red address" serving research and learning about the Vietnamese National Assembly and historical figures who have contributed to the country.
