'Ho Chi Minh City Noodle Festival' postponed due to storms and heavy rain.

The organizing committee of the first "Vietnamese Rice Noodle Festival - Delicious Dishes from Noodles" in 2025 (originally scheduled to take place from October 16-19 at 23.9 Park, Ho Chi Minh City) has just issued an urgent announcement postponing the event due to unfavorable weather conditions and prolonged rain and storms.

According to an announcement from the Ho Chi Minh City Tourism Association, the new dates for the festival are November 20-23, 2025, still at 23 September Park (Ben Thanh Ward, Ho Chi Minh City). The organizing committee commits to maintaining the scale, content, and quality of the announced activities, while ensuring the full rights of sponsors, participating units, and media promotion rights as per signed contracts.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Khanh, Head of the Organizing Committee, said that the decision to postpone the event was made because partners and participating units from the North and Central regions were directly affected by storms and heavy rain, while Ho Chi Minh City, as an outdoor venue, was also impacted by bad weather. Therefore, the schedule needed to be adjusted to ensure safety and convenience for all participating units, visitors, and sponsors.

"The organizers hope that the Vietnamese Rice Noodle Festival will not only be a meaningful culinary and cultural event but also a safe and friendly destination, contributing to honoring the value of traditional Vietnamese agricultural products," Ms. Khanh emphasized.

Although the postponement may affect some media and sponsorship plans, the organizers have received strong support from partners.
