World Childhood Day 2025: A unique cultural and educational space for children

NDO - From May 29 to June 2, at the Old Quarter No. 01, Tran Hung Dao, Tan Thanh Ward, Hoa Lu City, Ninh Binh Province, the World Children's Day Festival will officially take place with a series of exciting and attractive activities for children on the occasion of International Children's Day June 1.

The festival is a healthy entertainment andeducational playground to realize the Party and State's policy in the national action program for children, contributing to raising awareness and responsibility of the whole society in caring for, protecting and educating children.

The highlight of the event was the photo exhibition “President Ho Chi Minh with teenagers and children” which recorded beautiful and meaningful moments expressing Uncle Ho’s affection and deep concern for the young generation. The exhibition not only evoked pride but also encouraged children to strive to follow his teachings.

In addition, the photo exhibition cluster “Children - The Country's Nursery” spreads a positive message about the responsibility of families, schools and communities in creating a safe and healthy environment for the comprehensive development of young children. The displayed images are also a call for everyone to join hands for the happy future of the next generation, encouraging children to follow well the "5 teachings of Uncle Ho".

This year’s festival focuses on experiential activities, learning while playing – playing while learning. In particular, the area for instructing fire safety and firefighting skills includes interactive activities: Q&A on knowledge, practice of escape, use of fire extinguishers, first aid, etc.

The folk art space is also a highlight as the children are guided by the artisans to make pottery, print folk paintings, and assemble ceramic paintings, thereby better understanding the traditional values ​​of the nation. In addition, the “Rolling the Dream” playground with creative activities from tires, recycled glass, etc. helps children raise awareness of environmental protection.

The art and discovery area offers a variety of vibrant colors, from painting on Bodhi leaves and dinosaur eggs to “Touching the colorful world ” - where children can freely draw their dream world. The “Brushing teeth properly” activity also contributes to raising children’s awareness of personal health care.

In addition, the outdoor playground is richly designed: ball house, tram, sand pool, folk games such as hopscotch, blind man's buff, sack race... creating a vibrant, exciting atmosphere, helping children develop physically and mentally.

In addition, the Organizing Committee arranged an area to display and communicate about children's rights, introduce communication products about children's rights and child protection work.

Many special art programs will take place within the framework of the Festival with the participation of children's clubs and famous artists. The opening art program will take place at 7:30 p.m. on May 29 with a combination of exchanges with People's Artist Xuan Bac and People's Artist Tu Long, familiar faces of artists loved by children.

Next are a series of outstanding programs such as the "Hello Summer 2025" Grand Concert with the theme of Brilliant Summer; circus-variety shows, the "English Arena" program, the "Childhood Kite" exchange, "Childhood Night", the fairy tale world puppet show...
