On May 4, Mai Son district organized the first Job Fair and Career Counseling Day in 2024.

The festival attracted 26 businesses, employers, training institutions and nearly 3,000 workers, union members, youth and students from high schools in the district.

Units, businesses, and training facilities organized 26 booths, introducing labor recruitment needs, recruitment positions, and business policies for employees. Eligible employees were able to sign labor contracts directly with businesses in the district, as well as businesses inside and outside the province participating in the Festival.

Local workers, students looking for jobs; international students from several countries: Japan; Korea, Taiwan, Europe are also interviewed, consulted and guided by businesses participating in the Fair to prepare documents and procedures to be able to export labor and study abroad.


The festival is a bridge to help workers directly contact businesses that need to recruit workers; help workers have more choices and opportunities to find jobs that suit their conditions, abilities, and health; have the opportunity to meet and discuss directly about jobs with representatives of businesses, schools, etc. to choose a suitable career. Thereby, contributing to reducing the unemployment rate and underemployment of people in the district, contributing to hunger eradication and poverty reduction in the locality.
