Nghe An: Two female students swept away by floodwaters, one missing.

On the evening of September 21st, search teams from Do Luong district ( Nghe An province ) were still making efforts to find the female student who was swept away by floodwaters and went missing.

According to initial information, at approximately 2 PM on the same day, a group of three female students were traveling on two electric bicycles from Lam Son commune to Boi Son commune. When they reached a flooded section of road, one student stopped and hesitated to cross, while the other two students on the other bicycle continued on.

Midway through their journey, the two girls unexpectedly fell off their motorbike and were swept away by the water. Upon discovering the incident, nearby residents swam out to rescue one girl, but the other went missing. The missing girl has been identified as Nguyen Thi Th. (a grade 8 student residing in Dong Tam hamlet, Ngoc Son commune).

By late afternoon on September 21st, search teams had only found the bicycle; the female student had still not been found.
