Previously, on September 12, at the Nghe An - Soviet Nghe Tinh Museum (Thanh Vinh ward), Nghe An province solemnly held a ceremony to receive the National Special Monument ranking certificate for "Places marking the Nghe Tinh Soviet movement 1930 - 1931". This is a system of 9 component relics spread across many localities, associated with large protests, the formation of village-level Soviet governments and the mark of the revolutionary climax of 1930 - 1931.

Typical relics include: The site of the Hung Nguyen peasant demonstration on September 12, 1930; Vinh prison - where many revolutionary soldiers were imprisoned; Ben Thuy intersection; Vo Liet communal house (Thanh Chuong) - where farmers gathered to fight; and many other locations in Nghi Loc, Dien Chau, Anh Son... These are considered "historical witnesses" preserving the spirit of uprising, the aspiration for independence and freedom of the people of Nghe Tinh.

According to the People's Committee of Nghe An province, the recognition of the special national monument is an opportunity to promote the Nghe Tinh Soviet movement, not only in terms of history but also in tourism development. Recently, the province has organized the art show "Soviet Fire" with light, sound, and 3D mapping technology to recreate the atmosphere of revolutionary struggle, creating a strong impression on tourists and the media.

According to the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Nghe An province, in order for the Nghe Tinh Soviet relic system to truly become a unique tourism product, Nghe An is orienting many solutions.

First of all, the province builds a comprehensive tourism development plan associated with historical relics, dividing tours by themes such as revolutionary history, cultural pilgrimage, school education tours, international tours; at the same time, connecting relics with eco-tourism, sea tourism, ethnic culture to extend the length of stay and increase visitors' spending.

In addition to the restoration and renovation work to ensure originality, Nghe An focuses on innovating the form of display and explanation using modern technology such as AR/VR, combined with museum space and experience areas simulating historical events.

Tourism products will also be more diverse: art performances, Soviet-era “role-playing” programs, community tours to experience rustic life, enjoy Nghe cuisine, and listen to Vi-Giam songs.

Ms. Tran Thi Kim Phuong - Head of the Relic Management Board of Nghe An province - said: "We are urgently completing scientific documents, enhancing the work of displaying, explaining, and applying digital technology to recreate historical spaces. At the same time, the relics will be connected in thematic tourism routes, so that visitors can not only learn about one location but also experience the whole system."

Promotion and advertising work is identified as a breakthrough. The province aims to produce documentaries, short videos, and vlogs that spread on social networks; invite journalists, KOLs, and bloggers to experience; and participate in international tourism fairs to put Xo Viet Nghe Tinh on the world tourism map.

At the same time, Nghe An will coordinate with Ha Tinh to build inter-provincial routes, cooperate with localities in the region, ensure sustainable development, associated with the participation and direct benefits of the local community.

Director of Nghe An Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Ms. Tran Thi My Hanh, affirmed: “Preserving and promoting the Nghe Tinh Soviet heritage is both a political task and opens a direction for sustainable tourism development. The industry will advise on mechanisms to mobilize social resources, invest in infrastructure, and diversify products to turn the relic into an attractive destination for learning, research and experience for students, domestic and international visitors.

The harmonious combination of conservation and tourism exploitation will help the historical and revolutionary value of the Nghe Tinh Soviet movement continue to shine, while creating new momentum for Nghe An tourism to develop sustainably, worthy of its position as a land rich in tradition."
