Speaking at the meeting, President Rumen Radev recalled the deep impressions of his official visit to Vietnam (November 2024), expressing his emotions when recalling the meeting with Vietnamese people who had studied and worked in Bulgaria organized by the Friendship Association in Hanoi.
President Rumen Radev affirmed that Vietnam is not only a traditional friend but also a very important partner of Bulgaria in the region. Chairwoman of the Vietnam-Bulgaria Friendship Association Le Thu Ha shared some outstanding activities of the Vietnam-Bulgaria Friendship Association of Hanoi City in recent times. Every year, the Association celebrates important holidays of Bulgaria such as the Day of Culture, Education and Slavic Writing (May 24), Bulgarian National Day (March 3), Student Day (December 8)...
Many members enthusiastically participated in practicing traditional Bulgarian songs and dances and cooking Bulgarian dishes. Ms. Le Thu Ha affirmed that the Vietnam-Bulgaria Friendship Association will always strive to promote its role as a bridge, maintaining the close friendship between the two nations.
On this occasion, Ms. Le Thu Ha suggested that Bulgaria increase student exchanges with Vietnam, and consider opening its doors further to Vietnamese people who want to visit the "land of roses", especially those who have studied and worked in Bulgaria and want to revisit their second homeland.
