Extracurricular activity "The Spirit of Vietnam": Gratitude and national pride.

On the morning of April 21st, Tran Hung Dao Primary School (Ha Long City) organized an extracurricular program with the theme "The Spirit of Vietnam," in response to Vietnam's Book and Reading Culture Day on April 21st, commemorating the 50th anniversary of the liberation of the South and the reunification of the country (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025).

Students from Tran Hung Dao Primary School (Ha Long City) performed a group dance to the song "As if Uncle Ho were present on the day of the great victory".

The program featured a variety of activities: Performances The program included reenactments of the story of the 10 girls at Dong Loc Crossroads, along with artistic performances showcasing the heroic spirit of Vietnam; a mass performance to the song "As if Uncle Ho were present on the day of the great victory" and a meaningful lettering display with the message "April 30: I love Vietnam"; and booths displaying books and newspapers on historical topics. These activities helped the children better understand the sacrifices of previous generations to achieve the peace and independence we enjoy today, fostering a deeper love for their country and national pride.

The program also provides an opportunity for children to read and learn about good books on Vietnam and its people, to express their feelings and understanding through storytelling, drawing, book presentations, and cultural exchange activities related to reading. Through each page, children not only learn knowledge but also feel the patriotism, courage, and unwavering will of our ancestors.


The digital library at Tran Hung Dao Primary School has been inaugurated with over 26,000 print books and nearly 1,000 e-books .

Also at the event, Tran Hung Dao Primary School inaugurated its digital library with over 26,000 digitized paper books and nearly 1,000 e-books, including a diverse range of books from textbooks and reference books to stories and children's books, serving as an open learning resource for students. Simultaneously, the school launched the "Digital Literacy Week," spreading a love of knowledge and beneficial stories from books to each student.
