Man uses scissors to break car window, attacks driver in HCMC

The incident occurred at around 2:00 p.m. on September 19, on Cong Quynh Street, Nguyen Cu Trinh Ward, District 1, Ho Chi Minh City.

According to the clip, the man riding a motorbike without a shirt blocked the car. At this time, the man held scissors in his hand, continuously opened the door, knocked on the glass, and challenged the driver to get out of the car.

According to witnesses, at the time of the incident, the car driver was dropping off passengers and collided with a young man on a motorbike. The young man left, then the man appeared. The incident left the car driver with an injured hand and damaged the car window.

Talking to Dan Tri reporter, local leaders said they are verifying the incident and will inform after the results are available.

Two days earlier, the Investigation Police Agency of Thu Duc City Police, Ho Chi Minh City, prosecuted and temporarily detained Ngo Duc Giang (born 1981, residing in Phu Nhuan District) for the crime of Disturbing public order.

According to the police, Giang was the one who smashed the car and attacked the male driver on Kha Van Can Street. The incident was filmed by passersby and posted on social media.
