People are excited on the first day of operation of the two-level government in Hanoi.

According to the reporter of CAND Newspaper, from early morning, the headquarters of the People's Committee of Bo De Ward ( Hanoi City) had many people present to do administrative procedures. However, with the operation having been carefully prepared in advance, the first day of operation was quite smooth.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Thu Huong, Deputy Chief of Office of Bo De Ward People's Committee, said that the administrative activities under the 2-level model have been tested by the ward with online mock records, so the staff participating in operating the ward's Public Administration Service Point are relatively fluent. In the area where administrative procedures are handled, we divide the cells into each field and have signs with the names of the staff directly receiving them, helping people easily access and resolve their needs.

Currently, there are still many different procedures in the process of being done in the old wards before the merger, so people come to find information and exchange a lot. However, with the enthusiastic reception and thoughtful handling of the staff, people feel very comfortable and convenient, without any difficulties.

At around 9:30 a.m. the same day at the Ba Dinh Ward Public Administration Service Point (Hanoi), the number of people coming to do administrative procedures was also increasing. However, with the scientific arrangement and staff to guide the people, all activities took place very smoothly. The people were enthusiastically guided by the staff, the procedures were quick and easy, and they did not have to wait long, so they were very happy.

Talking to CAND Newspaper reporters, Ms. Do Minh Thu, Specialist at the Ba Dinh Ward Public Administration Service Point, shared that July 1st is not only a milestone in administrative reform in Hanoi, but also the beginning of a government organization model that is close to the people, effective and flexible. With careful preparation and synchronous participation from officials to the people, Hanoi has laid the foundation for a two-level government system that truly operates effectively, serving the lives of the people, promising a smart, civilized and sustainably developed capital.

For Ba Dinh ward, before entering into operation of the 2-level government model, all staff of the unit were thoroughly trained to serve the people well and access national public services. On the very first day, although there were many people coming to do procedures, all activities still went smoothly.
