The Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee has approved the plan for the Nhan Dan Newspaper to organize a special art program titled "National Concert: The Homeland in Our Hearts" on August 21st at Van Phuc City urban area, Hiep Binh ward.
According to the plan, the program will be organized in a socialized and open-access manner to the public. The event is envisioned as a large-scale artistic activity, contributing to spreading patriotism, national pride, and aspirations for national development in the new era.
The Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee has assigned relevant departments and agencies to coordinate in guiding, licensing, inspecting, and supervising the organization process to ensure the program is conducted in accordance with the law, safely, and effectively.

In this regard, the Department of Culture and Sports is tasked with guiding the organizing unit to fully implement plans regarding security and order, traffic safety, fire prevention and control, medical services , electrical safety, environmental sanitation, emergency exits, and other measures to ensure the safety of attendees.
According to the organizers, "National Concert: Homeland in My Heart" is structured around three interconnected artistic chapters, combining music , visuals, and modern performance art.
The program opens with "A Unified Nation," recreating historical milestones of the Vietnamese people through emotionally rich music, imagery, and performance art. This is followed by "The Proud Red," centered around the national flag, symbolizing the pride, will, and sacrifices of generations of Vietnamese people that have led to the country's current standing.
The finale is "Homeland in My Heart," a vibrant, modern, and energetic performance. Contemporary art combined with the cultural colors of the three regions of Vietnam is expected to create a space for community connection, where love for the homeland, gratitude, and national pride are strongly spread, especially to the younger generation.
Organizing large-scale art programs, open free of charge to the public, is expected to contribute to creating more community cultural spaces in Ho Chi Minh City, while spreading historical, cultural, and national spirit values through contemporary performing arts.
In August 2025, Nhan Dan Newspaper organized the National Concert: Homeland in Our Hearts at My Dinh Stadium (Hanoi) to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day on September 2nd.
