Having served as village head for over two decades, Mr. Tri believes that to gain the people's trust, one must first understand them. Therefore, he spends most of his time traveling. He travels to listen to what the people say, to observe their work, and to understand the worries and concerns of each family. This closeness has built his enduring reputation among the people of Village 18.
For many years, the image of Mr. Tri on his old motorbike, carrying a small amount of food to visit needy households, has become familiar. Leveraging his connections with relatives working at the wholesale market, since 2019, he has been connecting with and supporting the donation of several hundred kilograms of seafood each year to poor families, the elderly, and those in particularly difficult circumstances in the area.

One of the situations he frequently focuses on is that of Mrs. Thai Thi Phuong, over 80 years old, living with her husband, who is nearly 90 years old, in poor health, and facing financial difficulties. Like a family member, Mr. Tri not only visits and offers encouragement, but also donates food to help the elderly couple improve their health.
Besides caring for the well-being of the community, Mr. Le Quang Tri is also a leading example in the movement to build new rural areas and create a civilized life in the residential area. The well-maintained, green, clean, and beautiful inter-village roads of today are the result of his persistent efforts in promoting and mobilizing support through his own exemplary actions.

His family voluntarily moved their fence and donated land to widen the road. He explained that a wider road facilitates transportation, makes it easier to sell agricultural products, and ensures safer journeys to school for their children. Seeing that he practiced what he preached, the people gained more trust and wholeheartedly contributed, creating a new look for this rural area.
Sharing his thoughts on his work, Mr. Le Quang Tri confided: "I think it's very simple. If you want people to listen to you, first and foremost, you must live a good example, and your words must match your actions. Once the people trust you, everything becomes easier to discuss and accomplish."
