This morning (February 23rd), the first working day after the Lunar New Year, the grounds and factory area of Ha Tinh Garment Factory No. 10 (Vung Ang Economic Zone) were adorned with a new look. Bright red flags with yellow stars were displayed throughout the factory, on the sewing lines, and even on the workers' uniforms, creating a fresh, vibrant spring atmosphere.

Following the solemn flag-raising ceremony, the factory leaders organized a New Year's gift-giving event for all workers. Bright red envelopes and bags of white salt were handed directly to the employees, conveying the spiritual meaning of "buying salt at the beginning of the year," a wish for a prosperous and abundant year. Warm handshakes, friendly greetings after the holiday, and the rhythmic sounds of machinery created an inspiring start to the first production shift of the new year.
Ms. Le Thi My (a worker in team 2) happily shared: “Before the Tet holiday, we received our full salaries and 13th-month bonus. The union even thoughtfully prepared gifts, tying them to the motorcycle seats for our last shift, which surprised and touched everyone. This thoughtfulness motivates us to return to the factory on time and be determined to achieve our production targets this year.”

Mr. Dang Viet Thuc, Director of Ha Tinh Garment Factory No. 10, affirmed: “With the serious and enthusiastic work ethic of the first day of the new year, we believe in a prosperous year, contributing to the overall success of the textile and garment industry. This year, the factory needs to recruit approximately 400 workers. With stable benefits and a professional working environment, we hope that local workers and those from neighboring areas will choose the factory as their long-term workplace.”
The atmosphere at Nam Ha Tinh Seafood Import-Export Joint Stock Company at the beginning of spring is equally vibrant.
Businesses choose the 6th day of the Lunar New Year (February 22nd) to kick off the new year with tasks such as cleaning the factory, checking machinery, and preparing raw materials. On the morning of the 7th day of the Lunar New Year (February 23rd), the main departments officially begin their first production shifts of the new year.

The lingering festive atmosphere of Tet (Lunar New Year) was still evident in the hushed conversations within the factory, but the pace of work quickly returned to normal. Workers took their positions, the assembly line operated smoothly, and the first batches of finished products were completed with intense concentration.
Reportedly, in 2025, the company invested 200 billion VND to upgrade its factory system and improve production lines; at the same time, it increased workers' salaries by 15%, maintained the 13th-month Tet bonus, and provided many other welfare benefits. These timely and practical policies are important "leverages" to help employees feel more secure and committed to the company.

Mr. Phan Anh Tuan, Head of Human Resources at Nam Ha Tinh Seafood Import-Export Joint Stock Company, stated: “For a sector with frequent labor turnover like the seafood industry, the fact that workers return in full and on time is highly commendable. The support and trust of the employees are crucial prerequisites for the company to develop production and business plans and achieve its goals for the year.”
Expressing her determination during the first shift of the new year, Ms. Nguyen Thi Sen (a worker in the processing department) emotionally said: “Even though I have been with the company for 20 years, each shift at the beginning of the year still brings me very special feelings. My colleagues and I always encourage each other to work harder, responsibly, and safely to contribute to building a sustainable business.”

The festive atmosphere of the Lunar New Year celebrations was also observed at units under the Ha Tinh Mineral and Trade Corporation (Mitraco). Starting earlier than many other businesses, some units such as the Lao-Viet International Port Joint Stock Company and Thien Loc Animal Feed Joint Stock Company... dispatched their first shipments as early as the 4th day of Tet (February 20th). These ships and trucks departing in the first days of the new year carried hopes for a prosperous year of production and business.
Mr. Dao Anh Dung, Vice Chairman of the Mitraco Ha Tinh Trade Union, said: “For departments working during Tet, the company leadership and the Trade Union Executive Committee pay close attention to salaries, bonuses, and the workers' morale. Leaders of the units also directly visited construction sites, factories, and seaports to give gifts and encourage workers during the first days of spring. This timely presence not only demonstrates deep concern but also provides further motivation for cadres and workers to enthusiastically continue their work.”

After spending time with their families, workers in Ha Tinh have returned to work with a high sense of responsibility. The bustling atmosphere of the first shifts of the new year not only marks the beginning of smooth production lines and successful shipments, but also demonstrates the close bond and partnership between businesses and workers. This is a hopeful sign for a breakthrough and sustainable development in the new year for the business community in Ha Tinh.
