21-year-old model Aoki Lee Simmons breaks up with 70-year-old businessman

Just four days after People confirmed that model Aoki Lee Simmons, 21, and restaurateur Vittorio Assaf, 65, were spending time together, a source close to the Simmons family told the press that they had broken up.

"Not only did they end the relationship, they acted like nothing ever happened," an insider told People . "Aoki is learning to navigate his personal life. And that can be difficult. However, Kimora is worried about seeing her daughter go through that kind of relationship."

Aoki's rep could not be reached for comment. Page Six first reported the split.

On April 5, a source close to Aoki Lee Simmons told People that she and the Serafina Restaurant Group founder are "spending time together and having fun." The couple met while vacationing in St. Barths, a favorite Caribbean vacation destination of Simmons' family. Photos from the time show the pair sharing an intimate moment on the beach.

Assaf was born and raised in Milan, Italy, and is best known as the founder of Serafina, a popular Italian restaurant in New York City. He was previously married to model Charlotte Bonstrom, with whom he had two children before divorcing in 2021.
