Teacher Tran Duc Noi, Party Branch Secretary and Head of the Mathematics Department at Dong Son 1 High School, is always loved by his colleagues and students for his dedication, responsibility, and constant spirit of innovation. Graduating with a degree in Mathematics Education from Hong Duc University in 2002, Mr. Noi began his teaching career at Tinh Gia 2 High School. In 2004, he transferred to Dong Son 1 High School and has remained there ever since. Nearly 25 years of teaching is also 25 years of dedicated teaching, inspiring and nurturing the dreams of many generations of students.

As a math teacher—a subject often considered dry and difficult by many students—Mr. Noi is always striving to find suitable teaching methods to ignite a passion for learning in his students. Mr. Noi shared: “In each lesson, I always try to connect knowledge with real-life situations so that students understand that mathematics is not just dry numbers or formulas, but is also very much present in everyday life. When students understand the meaning and application of the subject, they will learn with more enthusiasm and initiative.”

It is precisely this approachable and easy-to-understand teaching style that has helped many students gradually develop a love for mathematics, confidently overcoming their shyness to excel in their studies. Not only has he innovated teaching methods, but Mr. Noi is also one of the pioneering teachers in applying information technology to teaching at the school. He actively develops electronic lesson plans, updates new question types, and compiles scientific review materials to serve students. In particular, he and a group of core mathematics teachers in the province have effectively implemented student assessment and evaluation on the Azota.vn platform. The online review programs initiated by him and his colleagues have created a significant impact throughout the province. Every year, he connects more than 100 teachers and thousands of students to participate in programs for high school graduation exam preparation, gifted student competition preparation, competency assessment, and thinking skills assessment on digital platforms. This is a practical model that contributes to improving the quality of education in the current digital transformation era.

What earns him the respect of his colleagues and students is not only his solid professional expertise but also his dedication, approachability, and responsibility towards his students. With the motto "close attention - companionship - flexibility," he always takes the time to understand each student's abilities and circumstances in order to provide appropriate support. According to him, each student possesses unique abilities that need to be nurtured and developed. A teacher should not only teach academics but also listen, share, and inspire students to confidently strive for academic excellence. This dedication has helped many average students make significant progress, becoming good or excellent students. Under his guidance, the Dong Son 1 High School's mathematics team has consistently achieved high results for many years. To date, he has directly mentored 36 students who have won provincial-level awards, including 3 first prizes, 12 second prizes, 14 third prizes, and 7 consolation prizes. In addition, 27 students won provincial-level Casio calculator math competitions, 10 students won national-level online math competitions, and 28 students won provincial-level online math competitions. Many students directly taught by the teacher achieved high scores in the high school graduation exam and were admitted to top universities nationwide.

In addition, Mr. Tran Duc Noi is a highly respected teacher in the Thanh Hoa province's education sector. For over 10 consecutive years, he has been selected by the Department of Education and Training as a core mathematics teacher in the province. He has repeatedly participated as a speaker at training courses on curriculum reform and teaching methods; and has served on the examination board for gifted student competitions and quality assessment tests of the education sector...

Not only is he passionate about the profession of "nurturing future generations," but Mr. Noi is also actively writing innovative teaching methods and has won 7 B and C prizes at the departmental level. Notable examples include: "Applying active learning methods to teaching the concept of limits of sequences"; "Applying brainstorming techniques to teaching inequalities to promote students' active participation and creativity"; "Teaching the topic of Vectors in Space using methods and techniques of organizing group learning activities and guiding students to self-study"...

In recognition of his enduring contributions to the field of education, Mr. Noi has consistently been awarded the title of "Outstanding Emulation Soldier at the grassroots level" for many years, and has received Certificates of Commendation from the Ministry of Education and Training , the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, and the Chairman of the People's Committee of Thanh Hoa province.
