Amidst the rapid development of digital platforms, many young people in Thai Nguyen are leveraging social media to create content, contributing to promoting the image of their hometown. Without needing expensive marketing campaigns or professional equipment, they use their phones and personal perspectives to tell stories about local culture, cuisine, and nature.

Born and raised in the Tan Cuong tea-growing region, Le Hai chooses to capture familiar moments such as lush green tea hills in the early morning mist, the rhythm of life of his family and tea farmers, or simply the peaceful sunset in his village. Although he only started building his TikTok channel a little over two years ago, his videos have attracted tens of thousands of views and many comments asking for travel information.

Beyond simply capturing beautiful scenery, Hai's videos also contribute to promoting Thai Nguyen tea, a local specialty. Through footage of the tea-picking process, traditional tea processing, and methods of brewing tea with pomelo and jasmine flowers, viewers gain a deeper understanding of the meticulous craftsmanship and sophistication involved in each tea product. Many viewers, after watching the videos, have expressed interest in experiencing the tea-growing region firsthand, even seeking to purchase tea as a gift that embodies the flavors of their homeland.

Sharing about his creative process, Le Hai said: "My videos mainly revolve around the life and scenery of my hometown. I usually wake up very early to capture the most beautiful moments of the day. Each video takes about a day to complete. When I receive many messages asking about locations, how to get there, as well as how to enjoy tea or buy quality tea, I am even more motivated to create more detailed and useful content."

Alongside this, the Thai Nguyen Dailymatic channel, created by young entrepreneur Nguyen Manh Huu from Phan Dinh Phung ward, has garnered 77,300 likes on TikTok. Nguyen Manh Huu shared: "The idea for creating the Thai Nguyen Dailymatic channel and its content came very naturally, stemming from my love for my hometown. I wanted to capture familiar but easily overlooked images in daily life, from small streets and eateries to famous tourist destinations like Nui Coc Lake, Ban Cay... or ecological areas. Initially, I only filmed to preserve memories, but then I saw that many people were interested, especially those far from home, so I invested more and put more effort into each video."

Nowadays, simply searching for the keyword "Thai Nguyen tourism" on platforms like Facebook or TikTok will easily bring up hundreds of videos created by young people. The content is usually concise, focusing on natural scenery, food, and real-life experiences, attracting a large number of viewers and interactions.

Mr. Do Trong Hiep, Chairman of the Thai Nguyen Tourism Association, stated: "The participation of young people in producing digital tourism content is a positive sign, in line with modern media trends on digital platforms. This group has the ability to naturally and intimately spread the image of tourist destinations, while also helping tourists access information through vivid experiences. If properly guided and with improved content quality, this group can become an effective promotional channel, contributing positively to the promotion and development of local tourism."

It is evident that young people's participation in promoting tourism on digital platforms is opening up a new and effective communication channel. Authentic and emotionally rich videos not only contribute to spreading the image of a youthful and friendly Thai Nguyen but also promote the development of tourism in a modern direction.

However, this activity also poses some challenges such as unverified information, duplicate content, or excessive reviews aimed at attracting views. Therefore, in addition to the creativity of young people, there needs to be appropriate content guidance, increased awareness of responsibility among content creators, and strengthened management by relevant authorities. Only then will the digital content creation force truly become an effective bridge, contributing to bringing the image of Thai Nguyen tourism closer to domestic and international tourists.
