As of early September 2023, the total mobilized capital of credit institutions in Ha Tinh reached about VND 91,850 billion, an increase of 8.99% compared to the end of 2022.
According to the State Bank of Vietnam, Ha Tinh Branch, the interest rate for mobilizing VND deposits is currently at 0.1 - 0.5%/year for non-term deposits and deposits with terms of less than 1 month; 3.3 - 4.75% for deposits with terms from 1 month to less than 6 months; 5 - 6.8%/year for deposits with terms from 6 months to less than 12 months; 6 - 7.2%/year for deposits with terms of 12 months or more. The interest rate for mobilizing USD is at 0%/year for deposits of organizations and individuals.
In the first months of the year, Agribank Ha Tinh Branch effectively implemented the "Celebrating the Year of the Cat 2023" savings program, attracting a large source of mobilized capital.
Compared to the beginning of the year, the interest rates mobilized at credit institutions have decreased sharply. However, with many synchronous solutions and effective policies, the capital mobilized in the area has still grown well. In particular, it is necessary to mention: increasing deposit interest rates (in the first 6 months of the year); implementing attractive savings programs such as: cars, motorbikes, savings books...
At the same time, some "banks" also design and implement savings packages with preferential interest rates for the police force, military, teachers, women, the elderly... attracting the participation of many customers.
Increasing capital mobilization will help banks in Ha Tinh invest in production, business, priority areas and economic growth drivers according to the Government's policies.
As of August 31, 2023, the total mobilized capital in the area reached about VND 91,850 billion, an increase of 8.99% compared to the end of 2022. It is known that in 2023, Ha Tinh banking industry sets a target of increasing capital mobilization by 13% compared to the end of 2022.
