According to sources from ESPN and Globo , Davide has agreed to sign a contract with Botafogo until December 2026, replacing coach Renato Paiva, who was sacked after the 0-1 defeat against Palmeiras in the Round of 16 of the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup.
