Playground to sow the seeds of creativity and integration
After more than 2 months of launching and implementing, the contest "Future Designer 2025" organized by the Young Pioneers and Children's Newspaper in collaboration with Designer - CEO Yen Ngo and the fashion brand beAnn has left a deep impression on the hearts of many children and parents. More than 1,000 entries from children aged 6 to 15 across the country sent to the Organizing Committee are proof of the strong influence and special attraction of the contest.

Not only does the contest aim to inspire children’s passion for fashion and painting, it also aims to foster love for their homeland, national pride and the spirit of international integration, through the theme: “Vietnamese children are patriotic, confident and integrated”. Among the hundreds of designs submitted, many demonstrate exploration and creativity beyond the norm, reflecting children’s unique and sophisticated perspectives on society, the environment, national heritage and the contemporary world .
Journalist Bui Viet Cuong - Chairman of the Trade Union of Young Pioneers and Children Newspapers , Head of the Organizing Committee of the contest, shared: “Through the contest, the works that the children sent in have shown that today's generation of children has many new creative ideas, integrating love for the Fatherland and national pride into every design detail. That is a happy and hopeful signal about the culture, aesthetics and integration thinking of the young generation”.
Accompanying from the organization to the production stage is designer - CEO Yen Ngo, founder of the beAnn brand. With the desire to nurture inspiration and comprehensive development orientation for Vietnamese children, she said: "Through this contest, children will learn more about a new industry, a new subject: fashion design. Ms. Yen and beAnn hope to contribute a small part in nurturing young Vietnamese talents and give children the most practical experience so that they can be more confident and understand more deeply about their passion."
Gala Night Sublimation
On the evening of August 2, the final Gala and award ceremony of the competition took place solemnly in Hanoi , gathering more than 200 professional models, dancers, contestants, parents and guests. On the big stage, the 24 best designs were vividly recreated with fabrics, colors, shapes... The designs were conceived by the contestants themselves, and performed by child models in an impressive fashion show.

Among the outstanding contestants, the two winners of the Special Prize of the contest were Nguyen Thi Thanh Thao (class 3E1, Archimedes Academy Primary School, Hanoi) and Nguyen Le Thuy Linh (class 6A3, Mao Khe II Secondary School, Quang Ninh) who were honored to receive Certificates of Merit from the Central Council of the Young Pioneers. The First Prize went to Ngo Kim Tue (Long Thuong Primary School, Phuoc Ly Commune, Tay Ninh Province) and Tong Thanh Truc (Yen Hoa Secondary School, Yen Hoa Ward, Hanoi).
Second, Third and Fourth prizes were also awarded to contestants with creative designs and clear artistic thinking. These promising young faces are vivid images of a generation of dynamic, confident and ambitious children.
Each outfit tells a story. There are designs with the image of Dong Son bronze drums, dresses inspired by lotus flowers and ao dai, designs expressing the theme of environmental protection, sacred sovereignty over seas and islands, or the aspiration for Vietnam to reach out to the world... Many parents shed tears when they saw their children holding the model's hand, walking down the catwalk - confident, radiant and truly more mature.
The Gala also left its mark thanks to the appearance of famous artists such as Van Mai Huong, ST Son Thach, actress Thu Quynh, etc. The artists are the factors that greatly inspire the children to confidently walk on the journey to pursue their dreams.
The journey of nurturing global citizens
The “Future Designer 2025” contest is a cultural and artistic playground, but more than that, it is a comprehensive educational model, helping children develop equally in terms of aesthetic thinking, creativity, idea presentation skills and patriotism. The contest also contributes to early career orientation, expanding children's awareness of the fashion design industry - a relatively new field in general education today.

The brilliant journey of “Future Designer 2025” has ended, but the creative inspiration, valuable experience and belief have been planted. So that tomorrow, in the journey of adulthood, the children will carry with them the beautiful memories of a meaningful summer.
This event is part of a series of activities to celebrate major holidays: the 80th anniversary of the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam; the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification; the 135th birthday of President Ho Chi Minh and the 10th National Congress of Uncle Ho's Good Children - 2025.
