A playground that fosters passion for creativity and integration.

After more than two months of launching and implementation, the "Future Designer 2025" competition, organized by the Youth Pioneer and Children's Newspaper in collaboration with Designer and CEO Yen Ngo and the beAnn fashion brand, has left a deep impression on many children and parents. Over 1,000 entries from children aged 6 to 15 across the country were submitted to the Organizing Committee, demonstrating the strong reach and special appeal of the competition.

Beyond simply sparking a passion for fashion and art in children, the competition also aims to cultivate love for their homeland, national pride, and a spirit of international integration through its overarching theme: "Vietnamese Children: Patriotic, Confident, and Integrated." Among the hundreds of submitted designs, many showcased innovative exploration and creativity that went beyond conventional norms, reflecting children's unique and insightful perspectives on society, the environment, national heritage, and the contemporary world .

Journalist Bui Viet Cuong - Chairman of the Trade Union of the Youth Pioneer and Children's Newspaper , and Head of the Organizing Committee of the competition, shared: “Through the competition, the works submitted by the children have shown that today's generation of children has many new and creative ideas, incorporating both love for the homeland and national pride into every design detail. This is a positive and hopeful sign regarding the culture, aesthetics, and integrated thinking of the younger generation.”

Accompanying the event from organization to production is designer and CEO Yen Ngo, founder of the beAnn brand. With a heartfelt desire to nurture inspiration and provide holistic development for Vietnamese children, she stated: “Through this competition, the children will learn more about a new industry and subject: fashion design. Ms. Yen and beAnn hope to contribute a small part to nurturing young Vietnamese talent and giving the children the most practical experience so they can become more confident and understand their passions more deeply.”

The Gala Night was a triumphant night.

On the evening of August 2nd, the grand finale and awards ceremony of the competition took place in Hanoi , bringing together over 200 professional models and dancers, along with contestants, parents, and guests. On the large stage, the 24 best designs were vividly recreated using different fabrics, colors, and silhouettes. These designs, conceived by the contestants themselves, were showcased by child models in an impressive fashion show.

The two designs that won the Special Prize were magnificently brought to life on the final night's stage.

Among the outstanding contestants, the two winners of the Special Prize were Nguyen Thi Thanh Thao (Class 3E1, Archimedes Academy Primary School, Hanoi) and Nguyen Le Thuy Linh (Class 6A3, Mao Khe II Secondary School, Quang Ninh), who were honored with Certificates of Merit from the Central Youth Union Council. First Prize went to Ngo Kim Tue (Long Thuong Primary School, Phuoc Ly Commune, Tay Ninh Province) and Tong Thanh Truc (Yen Hoa Secondary School, Yen Hoa Ward, Hanoi).

Second, third, and fourth prizes were also awarded to contestants with highly creative designs and clear artistic thinking. These promising young faces are a vivid representation of a dynamic, confident, and ambitious generation of children.

Each outfit tells a story. Some designs feature images of the Dong Son bronze drums, some dresses are inspired by lotus flowers and the traditional ao dai, while others express themes of environmental protection, sacred maritime sovereignty, or Vietnam's aspiration to reach out to the world… Many parents shed tears when they saw their children holding hands with models, walking onto the catwalk – confident, radiant, and truly more mature.

The gala was also memorable thanks to the appearance of famous artists such as Van Mai Huong, ST Son Thach, actress Thu Quynh, etc. These artists were a great source of inspiration for the children, giving them the confidence to pursue their dreams.

The journey of nurturing global citizens.

The "Future Designer 2025" competition is a cultural and artistic playground, but more importantly, it's a comprehensive educational model that helps children develop evenly in aesthetic thinking, creativity, idea presentation skills, and patriotism. The competition also contributes to early career guidance and broadens children's awareness of fashion design – a relatively new field in current general education.
