* On the morning of June 2nd, the delegation of the Nghe An Provincial People's Council from electoral unit No. 5 met with voters in Van An commune before the mid-year regular session of the 19th Provincial People's Council, term 2026-2031. In direct discussions with voters, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Vo Trong Hai, acknowledged and highly appreciated the sense of responsibility of the voters in Van An commune for frankly reflecting on issues arising from practical situations.

* The government held a nationwide online conference to review the implementation of Prime Minister 's Directive No. 38/CĐ-TTg dated May 5, 2026, on focusing on directing the implementation of solutions to combat, prevent, and handle acts of infringement of intellectual property rights. At the Nghe An branch, Mr. Thai Van Thanh - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee - presided over the meeting.

* On the morning of June 2nd, the Ministry of Education and Training held a nationwide online conference on the organization of the 2026 High School Graduation Examination. This year's exam is the largest ever, with over 1.2 million registered candidates. Nghe An is one of the provinces and cities with a large number of candidates, with over 42,000, an increase of more than 2,000 compared to the previous year.

* The Legal Affairs Committee and the Economic and Budget Committee of the Provincial People's Council held meetings to review the contents and draft resolutions to be submitted to the 2nd Session, the specialized session of the 19th Provincial People's Council.

* Accelerating the renovation and reconstruction of old apartment buildings in Thanh Vinh ward was the requirement of Mr. Hoang Phu Hien, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Nghe An province, during a field inspection and working session with departments, localities, and investors on the situation of renovating and rebuilding old apartment buildings in Thanh Vinh ward on the morning of June 2nd.

By May 29th, all communes and wards in Nghe An province had completed the drafting of their proposed plans for rearranging villages, hamlets, and residential blocks, and submitted them to the Department of Interior Affairs. Some localities plan to reduce the number of residential units by half.

The government has just issued Decree No. 192/2026 stipulating a number of specific allowances in the health sector, providing monthly support for village and neighborhood health workers and village midwives. The decree will take effect from July 15th.
