The reason it is said to be full is because the collection of poems brings together 304 domestic and foreign authors, with nearly 1,000 poems translated and introduced to the world .
The person who selected and implemented the collection is poet Vo Thi Nhu Mai ( photo ), a master of literature, a primary school teacher for more than 20 years in Western Australia. All the poems in the collection were painstakingly translated into English by her over 3 years, and she also arranged and designed the pages herself. The poetess herself also has many gentle, simple but graceful and profound poems.
Although living far away from home, Vo Thi Nhu Mai still closely follows the literary life of Vietnamese people at home and abroad. In order to connect like-minded souls, she created the bilingual website The Rhythm of Vietnam , through which she has been able to reach many authors. She said: "Perhaps the gentle, slow, pleasant and quiet life in a faraway place has made me less influenced and always work enthusiastically with a clear, simple mind and few worries."
Poet Vo Thi Nhu Mai has had many published works: Random Thoughts (Women's Publishing House, 2019), Beyond the Ocean (Literature Publishing House 2011), Fairy Garden (Writers' Association Publishing House 2015). She has also translated many works of Vietnamese poets into English.
