The Vietnam Exhibition Hall is considered one of the top attractions of Expo 2025 taking place in Osaka, Kansai, Japan. In particular, during the holiday known as “Golden Week” for the Japanese people (April 30 - May 6), it is estimated that nearly 25,000 visitors visited the Vietnam Exhibition Hall.
This year's "Golden Week" in Japan coincides with the occasion of Vietnam celebrating the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025). Taking this opportunity, the leader of the Department of International Cooperation (Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism) informed that the Vietnam Exhibition House at Expo 2025 has screened a special video to celebrate April 30 and the country's major holidays in 2025, organized a welcome for overseas Vietnamese to visit, increased the number of art performances each day to serve visitors...
The Exhibition House representative said that the water puppet show and traditional musical instrument performances are always the highlights that attract visitors. Although there are up to 4 shows a day, viewers always arrive early, even hours before the show starts.
During the “Golden Week,” the Vietnam Exhibition House not only welcomed a large number of Japanese visitors but also many special visitors such as artists Tung Duong, Isaac, Duyen Quynh, etc.
Located in a prime location, near the Japan, USA, France Exhibition House, the Vietnam Exhibition House operated by the Department of International Cooperation has left a deep impression on viewers thanks to its brilliant display space, imbued with the traditional cultural identity of Vietnam but also equally contemporary.
“By skillfully combining modern technological elements such as 3D holograms, touch, mapping, etc., engaging storytelling language, and high interactivity, the Vietnam Exhibition House hopes to become a connecting thread between the past, present, and future, introducing visitors to a modern, sustainably developing Vietnam that leaves no one behind,” said Mr. Tran Nhat Hoang, Deputy Director of the Department of International Cooperation and Deputy Representative of Vietnam at Expo 2025 Osaka.
This morning, May 7, the Vietnam Exhibition House welcomed the Governor of Nagano Prefecture, Mr. Shuichi Abe, to visit. Located in the center of Japan, Nagano Prefecture is famous for its hot springs, ski resorts, and hosted the 1998 Winter Olympics.
Governor Shuichi Abe was delighted to enjoy the water puppet show and was interested in information about Vietnam's leading OCOP products. He also expressed his hope that in the coming time, Nagano Prefecture and the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism will seek opportunities to promote cooperation in the fields of tourism and culture.
It is known that in May, Vietnam Exhibition House will continue to organize promotional events, notably the Ho Chi Minh Exhibition - Symbol of the Era (from May 23-25) on the occasion of the 135th anniversary of Uncle Ho's birthday, Vietnam National Brand Week (from May 26 - June 1).../.
