Last night (November 6th), waves over 4 meters high crashed against the coastal road in Long Phung commune, causing erosion along approximately 230 meters. Shops and stalls in the Duc Loi beach area, Long Phung commune, suffered heavy damage due to strong winds and high waves. The corrugated iron roofing of one household in the Duc Loi area was blown away 400 meters by the whirlwind. This morning (November 7th), leaders of Long Phung commune were present to inspect and survey the damage in the affected areas and promptly report to higher authorities.
