Many impressive activities at the grassroots Trade Union in Ho Chi Minh City

Activities to celebrate the Vietnam Trade Union Day contribute to building harmonious, stable and progressive labor relations in enterprises.

On July 23, Mr. Nguyen Tan Dat, Vice President of the Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation, said that on the occasion of the 96th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam Trade Union (July 28, 1929 - July 28, 2025), many grassroots trade unions in Ho Chi Minh City organized meaningful and humane activities for union members and workers, demonstrating the social responsibility of the trade union, businesses and the community.

Mr. Nguyen Tan Dat chaired the working session with the Party Committee and Labor Union of Ben Cat Ward.

Vice President of the Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation Nguyen Tan Dat said that the activities to celebrate the founding day of the Trade Union for union members and workers are not only an occasion to review the glorious tradition but also an opportunity to affirm the position and role of the Trade Union, at the same time taking better care of the material and spiritual life of workers, contributing to building harmonious, stable and progressive labor relations.

Mr. Nguyen Tan Dat and Tran Hong Khoi, Deputy General Directors of Binh Duong Investment and Project Management Company Limited, presented flowers and Certificates of Merit to outstanding union members of Binh Duong Production - Import - Export Corporation.

Yazaki EDS Vietnam Co., Ltd. (Di An ward) organized a conference for employees.

Caring activities also encourage the spirit of enthusiasm and creativity among union members and workers. This contributes to promoting emulation movements, improving productivity, quality and work efficiency.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Huong, Chairwoman of the Trade Union of Asia Italian Door Technology Company Limited (Khanh Binh 14 Street, Long Binh Quarter, Tan Hiep Ward, Ho Chi Minh City), said that on this occasion, the company's Trade Union organized a "friendly meal" program for 1,000 union members and workers. The meal included roast chicken, sticky rice and fruit.

On this occasion, the grassroots union also presented 150,000 VND to each union member. At the same time, gifts were given to union officials who had accompanied the grassroots union to take care of the workers. The company also awarded prizes to groups and teams that had completed their tasks and produced well.

Mr. Nguyen Tan Dat, Vice President of the Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation, said that after Binh Duong and Ba Ria-Vung Tau merged with Ho Chi Minh City, the leaders of the Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation quickly assigned tasks to the President and Vice Presidents.

In which, three Vice Presidents of the Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation were assigned to be in charge of the trade unions of wards and communes in Binh Duong province (old).

Specifically, Vice President of the Ho Chi Minh City Confederation of Labor Nguyen Kim Loan is in charge of propaganda, women's work and Working Group No. 8 for managing the area. Ms. Loan will directly direct the activities of the Propaganda - Women's Work Department of the Ho Chi Minh City Confederation of Labor and the ward, commune and grassroots trade unions in the following wards and communes: Thu Dau Mot, Phu Loi, Chanh Hiep, Binh Duong, Hoa Loi, Phu An, Binh Co, Tan Uyen, Tan Hiep, Tan Khanh, Vinh Tan, Bac Tan Uyen, Thuong Tan.

Vice President of the Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation Pham Trong Nhan will be in charge of financial work and the Regional Management Working Group No. 4. Mr. Nhan will directly direct the activities of the Finance Department of the Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation and the ward, commune, and grassroots trade unions in the following wards and communes: Dong Hoa, Di An, Tan Dong Hiep, An Phu, Binh Hoa, Lai Thieu, Thuan Giao, and Thuan An.

Vice President of Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation Nguyen Tan Dat is in charge of Working Group No. 9 for Local Management. At the same time, he directly directs the activities of ward, commune, and grassroots trade unions in the following wards and communes: Ben Cat, Chanh Phu Hoa, Thoi Hoa, Tay Nam, Long Nguyen, Bau Bang, Tru Van Tho, Phu Giao, Phuoc Hoa, Phuoc Thanh, An Long, Long Hoa, Thanh An, Dau Tieng, and Minh Thanh.
