The activity was coordinated by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism with a number of central and local departments and branches, with the participation of about 200 people from 28 ethnic communities in 14 localities such as: Nung, Tay (Thai Nguyen); Dao (Hanoi city); Mong ( Ha Giang ); Muong (Hoa Binh); Lao, Thai, Kho Mu (Son La); Thai (Thanh Hoa); Ta Oi, Co Tu (Hue); Ba Na, Gia Rai (Gia Lai); Xo Dang (Kon Tum); Cham, Brahman, Raglai (Ninh Thuan); E De (Dak Lak), Khmer (Soc Trang)...
Through festival activities and performances under the motto "letting cultural subjects introduce themselves" to honor the traditional cultural values of Vietnamese ethnic groups, contributing to strengthening the great national unity of the community of 54 ethnic groups, bringing the traditional Tet atmosphere to serve tourists in the first days of spring at the Vietnam National Village for Ethnic Culture and Tourism.
Within the framework of the "Spring Colors in All Regions of the Fatherland" Festival in 2025, there will be two main groups of activities: A program of songs celebrating the glorious Party, celebrating the spring of At Ty, celebrating the country entering a new era, the era of national growth - Party and State leaders wishing the people of all ethnic groups a Happy New Year.
In addition, there are activities recreating traditional rituals and festivals, performing unique heritages of ethnic groups at the "Common House": Recreating the New Year tower opening ceremony of the Cham people in Ninh Thuan province; Recreating the New Rice Celebration Ceremony of the Raglai people in Ninh Thuan province; Recreating the Khai Ha Festival and introducing the Bamboo Calendar performance - National Intangible Cultural Heritage of the Muong people in Hoa Binh province; Introducing excerpts of rituals: singing and dancing to celebrate under the cotton tree (kin gong booc may) of the Thai people in Thanh Hoa province; "Spring Festival" program...
The festival aims to recreate and introduce the rituals, festivals, and good customs of Vietnamese ethnic groups, thereby helping people and tourists understand more about the values, cultural beauty, and traditions of Vietnamese ethnic groups in the traditional New Year celebration that has existed for thousands of years.
At the same time, we should strengthen the inheritance and practice of cultural forms to preserve and promote rituals, beliefs, traditional art forms, and special folk songs and dances of ethnic minorities in the Vietnamese ethnic community; enhance community cohesion, support each other to develop together, thereby educating the Vietnamese generation to be aware of their responsibility in preserving, maintaining and promoting the traditional cultural identity of the nation.
