In the heart of Ho Chi Minh City, Saigon Riverfront Park has become a prominent "meeting point" with the Hozo City Tet Fest 2025 series of events running until December 31st, featuring music , DJs, creative activities, and community interaction, attracting thousands of people each evening. Nguyen Hue - Le Loi pedestrian street, Lam Son Park, and the area around the City Theater are decorated with lights, stages, and experiential spaces, ready for the New Year's Eve countdown, expected to welcome a large crowd on the evening of December 31st.
Hotels and restaurants have reported a sharp increase in bookings, ranging from 45% to 100% compared to normal levels. Representatives from tourist attractions such as the Cu Chi Tunnels, Saigon Zoo, and Suoi Tien Cultural Park said they have developed plans to organize a series of activities over four days, expecting a 15% to 30% increase in visitors compared to the same period last year.
The festive atmosphere also spread to Vung Tau ward with the Tourism Week welcoming the New Year 2026. The series of outdoor activities "Unleashing the Dawn 2025" at the square - Bai Sau Park will take place from December 27, 2025 to January 4, 2026, including the "Flavors of the Blue Sea" food festival, a sunrise running race, a mass yoga performance on the morning of December 31, and an art program combined with high-altitude fireworks on New Year's Eve. Many tourism businesses in Vung Tau, Ho Tram, Con Dao, and Long Hai are organizing national and international-scale sports and cultural events, thereby affirming the eastern area of Ho Chi Minh City as a safe, friendly, and experience-rich destination.
In Thu Dau Mot ward, Ho Chi Minh City, the Department of Culture and Social Affairs, in coordination with relevant authorities, is preparing a floating bridge on the Saigon River, ready for the fireworks display on the river in the Bach Dang pedestrian street area, expected to attract tens of thousands of participants. In Binh Duong ward, Ho Chi Minh City, New Year's celebrations are taking place vibrantly on many streets, especially in the area where a spectacular display of 500 high-altitude fireworks is planned to be launched at midnight on January 1, 2026.
