Many leaders in Binh Duong ask for early retirement

TPO - Many officials from department level to key leaders at district and provincial levels in Binh Duong voluntarily retired early.

On February 18, the leader of Thu Dau Mot City Party Committee (Binh Duong) said that in the work of arranging and streamlining the apparatus, the locality is very favorable thanks to the solidarity among cadres.

Thu Dau Mot City has awarded early retirement decisions to many officials, including Mr. Huynh Van Thanh - Head of the City Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Committee; Mr. Nguyen Van Chet - Secretary of the Phu Tan Ward Party Committee; Ms. Nguyen Thi Suong - Secretary of the Dinh Hoa Ward Party Committee; Ms. Doan Thi Thu Hong - President of the City Red Cross Society.

Previously, Binh Duong had issued early retirement decisions to many key leaders. Among them were Mr. Mai Hung Dung - Permanent Vice Chairman of Binh Duong Provincial People's Committee; Mr. Ho Quang Diep - Secretary of Di An City Party Committee; Mr. Thai Thanh Binh - Secretary of Bac Tan Uyen District Party Committee.

Sharing with reporters, officials who received early retirement decisions said that the decision to retire early was not to enjoy benefits, policies or because of work pressure.

“If everyone wants to stay in their jobs, it will be very difficult for leaders to reorganize and streamline the apparatus, especially in preparation for the upcoming Party Congresses at all levels,” said a leader in Binh Duong who voluntarily retired early.

Standing Deputy Secretary of Binh Duong Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Loc Ha shared that up to now, the local leadership and cadres have been very proactive in voluntarily resigning from work before the age to create opportunities for the next generation to develop themselves and contribute to the province. In this spirit, when there was a policy of restructuring and streamlining the apparatus, many cadres voluntarily resigned from work, creating favorable conditions for the locality in the implementation process.

The leaders of Binh Duong Provincial Party Committee welcome the spirit of early retirement to create conditions for the next generation of cadres to access work early, creating convenience in the work of arranging personnel and general cadres of the province.

According to the leaders of Binh Duong province, currently, each cadre, party member, civil servant, employee, worker and the entire political system are continuing to promote the spirit of solidarity, unity, consensus, and determination to most effectively carry out the task of streamlining the organizational apparatus of agencies and units to contribute to building a truly streamlined, strong political system that operates effectively and efficiently, meeting the development requirements of the country in the new period.
